Came here with my friend to try their cupcakes. It's a small little shop decorated with cute items. They sell cupcakes, cake in a jar and cake lollies. For cupcake there were 2 types- premium($4.50) and regular($4). The ones displayed at the top is the premium flavors while the ones at the middle are the regular flavors. Asked the person which she would recommend and she said that most people like the Rockin Red Velvet, Saucy Salted Caramel and Cookies & Cream. So I ordered the Saucy Salted Caramel

So I ordered the Saucy Salted Caramel since I have developed a love for salted caramel. The cake was moist and soft. Frosting was sweet but not overly sweet. Caramel did not have a strong caramel taste. Wished they added more of the caramel. The pretzel on top was salted. Overall what I love most was the soft moist cake followed by the caramel sauce, the frosting and lastly the pretzel. The appearance also looks nice. Like they say, Food should always look as nice as it taste.

So I got myself a Rockin' Red Velvet Cupcake ($4.50 for premium flavour). A tad pricey for the portion but I guess the taste made up for it! This is perhaps one of the best red velvets I've eaten so far (besides the ones from Twelve Cupcakes & Cake Spade). Cake itself wasn't too dry nor moist; the moistness was just right. I could also taste the chocolate in it, and it's not too sweet. Frosting was done right, too. The cream cheese wasn't grainy and the level of sweetness was on the spot. Taste

Taste of the cream cheese was there too. Frosting to cake ratio was good, too. If you like your RVs not too sweet, Spatula's RV is made for you. Also, the cute little white chocolate block on top is a bonus treat. All in all, money and calories are well spent on this.

Saw their posts in Facebook, Halloween themed cupcakes! So I decided to pop by after work. Seems like they are ready for Halloween – their store is decorated with spider webs! Assaulted Caramel is actually Saucy Salted Caramel with additional touch of blood red frosting. It tasted as awesome, well-balanced between sweetness and saltiness. Check out the Melodramatic Frankie, doesn't it look adorable? Mint green frosting and chocolate base is indeed refreshing! There is also a new flavor which I g

There is also a new flavor which I got to try for the first time – So Singaporean. The color of the cupcake is very appealing. The base is pandan flavor with some kaya in the core. I personally feel that it is too sweet.

Their regular flavors are price at $4.20 individually and premium flavors are priced at $4.80 individually. It is a little pricey, however if you get half a dozen, it will be $4.00 each for regular flavors and $4.50 for premium flavors. If you get a box of 9, assorted flavors, it will be $35 and a box of 12, assorted flavors, it will be $45. The more you get, the price for each cupcake is lower!

When I stepped into this little bakery shop, I was overwhelmed by the cozy environment. A sofa was placed against a corner of the room and beside it is a clear glass cabinet that displays those pretty cupcakes that are available that day. They currently offers 21 flavors, however only selected flavors are available at any given day. Surprisingly, their premium flavor, Rockin Red Velvet cake base was rather dry. Conversely, another premium flavor, Saucy Salted Caramel was fantastic! The soft and fluffy cake base with salted caramel sauce get my taste bud tingling.

Design wise, I think these cupcakes are definitely first-class. Lots of care is definitely taken into making the cakes look beautiful. But for the taste, I honestly do feel that they are a little dry and maybe plain. Could have more flavouring inside the cupcake dough and maybe the cake could be a little bit more buttery, to improve the taste further.

The Cake in a Jar and the Cake Lollies/Fun Pops are also very cute innovations. If you want your cupcakes to be lollipop sized, I like the Cake Lollies. Pity they taste just as dry and plain as the actual cupcakes, save for the chocolate coating. And for marshmallow lovers, try their Fun Pops. I thought that they taste really good and the chocolate goes very well with the marshmallows inside.
