I would like to say that their pastries are quite commendable too. Their standard will not lose to those big players like Delifrance. Like their slogan 'Fuel for thought', after having their chicken curry puff, I really feel a little more energetic after lunch. After heating up the puff, the aroma surface out. The skin turns softer and you can actually tear it. However that flakiness of the skin still remains that little bit. The fillings are quite generous and with every bite, it will be filled

The fillings are quite generous and with every bite, it will be filled with those nice potatoes, herbs and spices. Feels the togetherness. Will try out more of their food and beverages soon.

This is my first time having tapas and I come across lots of photos of tapas but don't really know the exact taste of it. So today for lunch, I had tapas or maybe bruschetta at Spinelli at my convenience since I'm on course at the same building. The toast used is not very crispy and having a bit of hard time cutting it and even tearing it. Maybe because put on the display counter for awhile as food are pre-made so they basically just warm it up for customers. But I love the mushroom. The toppings are actually overflowing. The taste stays in your mouth for awhile. Love it. Shall try more of that but quite looking forward to those of canapés because of their bite size.

As for their hot chocolate, I feel it still loses out to those at Starbucks. Probably I don't like too much of foam.

Spinelli is currently doing the promotion where you can purchase 2 Tapas plus one coffee at the price of $7.90. There are a few different toppings you can choose for the tapas. I personally like the smoked duck the most. The duck meat is marinated in sour plum sauce and quite tender, very nice. Mushroom topping is not bad too, generous amount of the well-marinated mushroom. The chicken topping is slightly too dry I reckon, though the spicy flavour is quite appetizing.

Spinelli breakfast roll is always a good start for a hectic day. The Turkey, Cheese and Egg breakfast roll is so beautifully done, in terms of the presentation as well as the taste. The slight crisp of the toasted whole meal bun gives an extra texture to the bite. The turkey is lean, the pan-fried egg is well-seasoned, and the melted cheese sort of bringing everything together so nicely.

At Spinelli, a cookie costs 80 cents, but you could get two cookies at $1.2 only. They have quite a few types of cookies. My favourite has to be the chocolate chips! It has a chewy texture, and not overly sweet. The ginger cookies are not bad too. Crunchy with a hint of cinnamon taste. my least favourite is the dog bone, with the sugar coating, it's slight too sweet for me.

Had to amend this, the coffee outlet is at University hall, not Central Forum. The location had me confused for a moment. I visited spinelli very often, but i go for the oatmeal raisin cookie more than for the coffee. The oatmeal raisin cookie is AWESOME! And they have a very good business tactic, as 2 of it cost me $1.20, while one is $0.80. So i always fell for it and got 2 of it. I tried the Mocha spin, and while on its own, tasted not bad, but paled in comparison when i compared to the java

I tried the Mocha spin, and while on its own, tasted not bad, but paled in comparison when i compared to the java chips that i always had at starbucks. The coffee taste is not strong, which is fine with me since i could easily order espresso if i intend to have something strong. Instead of chocolate chip bits, spinelli replaced it by coffee bean bits, which i find quite tasteless.
