It was raining heavily outside, so I decided to seek refuge in Starbucks. I ordered a nice hot Green Tea Latte and was really fortunate to find a nice cosy seat to wait out the rain. The cafe was really packed with many people enjoying their afternoon tea, so seats were not easy to come by. There is a nice layer of matcha milk froth above the surface of the drink which I thought was really well done. I was also delighted by the strong combination of matcha powder and steamed milk in my starbucks

I did enjoy chilling out with my starbucks mug, the only downside was the crowded and noisy atmosphere.

One station away from my office, I sat down, enjoyed my Coffee and Muffin in the morning at Plaza Singapura. It was a 24 hours cafe, with finest and richest coffee.I ordered Blueberry Muffin, loaded with plump sweet blueberries. And also, Cappuccino with espresso, steamed milk and a deep layer of foam on the top. Less milk added inside if compared to a Latte, Cappuccino offered a stronger Espresso flavor and a luxurious texture.

Chanced upon the new extension of plaza sing the other day and the first store that's on the right is STARBUCKS! I like that this particular franchise felt more spacious than the rest, but as usual, never any space to take a seat and just chill!Ordered the chocolate chip creme (tall - $6.20, grande - $7.00, venti - $7.80) to go. Asked for whip cream (which i regretted as i never ever stir it in), and more chocolate syrup was just hanging at the top! BOOOO. Anyhow, this drink is one of the few no

Anyhow, this drink is one of the few non-caffine drink in starbucks. I think the other one is hot chocolate? I like to bite on the tiny chocolate chips floating around which enriches the texture of the drink!

This drink is an indulgence on a hot day (esp. with the steep prices)!

Will definitely try the hot chocolate next time round if there's seats!

To mark the end of their 12 days Christmas promo, Starbucks was offering one for one for their festive drinks! My friend had previously tried the Toffe Nut Frappe before and apparently claimed that it wasn't that good, so we went for Starbuck's newest creation, the Cranberry White Chocolate Mocha Frappe, instead. And boy, am I glad we did! It was a cup-load of aromatic coffee beans and infused with sweet, creamy notes of white chocolate. You wouldn't expect it but the cranberry sauce and bits sprinkled on top added a nice tart finish to the drink. I especially love how Starbucks allows you to customise almost any drink you want. I had mine without whip cream and decaff-ed, as i didn't want it too heavy and was trying to lay off the caffeine. If you have an under-developed sweet tooth, just request for less sugar. I'm pretty sure they'll accomodate that too. Only turn off was the environment. Baristas were clanging and banging the counter tops like nobody's business, we could hardly hold a conversation above the racket and ended up moving outside.
But well, i guess if anyone had that many customers to serve, they'd be clanging and banging counter tops too.

It cost $4.50 for a small bottle but it's really good as the cloudy apple juice does not taste like just ANY ordinary apple juice. It's thicker and tasted a tad creamy/milky. The suspicion did come across my friend and I's minds that it came out of a Polka's bottle and Starbucks just made the effort to repackage them (Polka does have cloudy apple juice in the 1.5l bottles too).. just a thought.

Nevertheless, it's a good try!
