Was at Tampines 1 and decided to buy a 6 inch Italian Ham sandwich for dinner. As usual, there were 4 slices of ham and with a selection of vegetables, including lettuce, onions, tomatoes etc. Of course, there are sauces to go with as well. Some sauces includes, BBQ, Sweet Onion, Ranch etc. As usual, I did not include any vegetable in the sandwich and added BBQ & Mayonnise sauce into my sandwich. In my own opinion, Ham goes well with BBQ and mayonnise sauce. The Ham is cut till thin, thus it is quite soft. The BBQ sauce is really full flavoured. The bread is slightly toasted with cheese, thus the outer of the bread is crispy and warm. Added another $1.00 for an cookie. There were an array of selection to choose from, including its famous Chocolate Chip Cookie, Double Chocolate Chip cookie and Raspberry Cookie. I will normally choose either the Raspberry Cookie or the Chocolate Chip cookie. The chocolate chip cookie is just the same as the ones served in Famous Amos, only can be described in one word - FABULOUS. All in all, each meal consist of 6 inch sandwich, cookie and a 16oz drink cost $6 which is very reasonable and value-for-money. continue reading

Subway’s Cold Cut Trio is a hot favorite among many who wants to cut down on their calories intake and increase nutritional value of their food. The Cold Cut Trio is a perfect combination of honey oats bread and fresh vegetables. It had nice and healthy stuffing inside the bread like fresh green cucumbers, tomatoes and lettuces. Served along with mayonnaise and one scoop egg mayo costs $1.20 extra. continue reading

Subway is the healthiest, cheapest and a convenient option out of all the fast food chains in Singapore! When ordering, first you choose either a 6-inch or a footlong. Next, there are five different types of bread to choose from, the italian, wheat, parmesan oregano, honey oat and hearty italian. I always choose either hearty italian or honey oat! Then, you can choose to add extra meat or cheese if you want. Next, choose which veggies you want on your sub! Finally, add your favourite sauce. Mine is always either sweet onion or honey mustard or both! If you don't feel like having a sub, there are other alternatives as well like a wrap or salad. If you feel that just a sub is not enough, you can top-up to make it a complete meal with a drink and side. My side are usually their chewy cookies! continue reading

For as low as $5 or less, you get to have the gourmet Subway breakfast roll, and with an additional $1, you could complete the breakfast with a cup of coffee/tea. I had the Western Egg Breakfast ($4). From the picture on the board, it looks exactly like the Ham & Egg Breakfast. Out of curiosity, I asked the staff what's the difference between the two. Apparently, Western Egg Breakfast has one slices of ham with egg, while the Ham & Egg Breakfast has two slices of ham with egg. Alright, now you know what to choose hey! I like the healthy salad that comes in the roll, a good start of the day for sure, however, I reckon the egg is a bit under-seasoned. It could taste better for sure. continue reading
