This restaurant which sells all kinds of local delight dishes as well as some Western cuisines is definitely a great venue to have a good simple feast and good chit chat with friends here.Restaurant is decorated till simple, cosy and quite cooling as well.  The restaurant's staffs are all very friendly but abit slow in their service.  I have tried their curry chicken with rice and ice kachang for my this visit. Curry chicken meat is very tender and juicy and the portion is generous too. The curry gravy is thick, spicy and creamy that really suit my taste bud. This dish is worth the price but feel that the salad  beside it does not blend in to this dish.Ice kachang as you can see, is quite big in portion as we and lots of ingredients are topped on it.  Especially enjoyed the red bean and green jelly, which both are not too sweet and are flavourful  as well.  The generous amount of evaporated milk added to it make it very fragrant and appeitzing.  Spent less than $10 for this meal which is affordable. continue reading

At Sweet Dynasty, you get to enjoy a wide range of Asian and Western crusines at affordable prices. Especially enjoyed their sambal mee goreng which is very fragrant and not too spicy and at just S$5.90 per plate, it is really worth the try. Do note that this cafeteria does charge a 10% service charge but no GST is charged here. Iced water is served free of charge and the service staffs here are friendly and approachable. continue reading

Sweet dynasty is famous for their signature Curry chicken bread. The thick white toast goes really well with the full-flavour curry chicken! The rich curry flavour is so aromatic, the santan (coconut cream) is not too heavy, and overall speaking, not too spicy too! We tried the best seller Gordon bleu chicken. It is very well-done. The chicken breast slices is of the right thickness, together with the ham and cheese, nice. The Pork chop is a bit too dry though. The peppery sauce tastes good but stingily little. As for dessert, the portion of their Cendol is quite big, and they will give you an extra pot of brown sugar syrup so that you can add more if you like it sweeter. The White fungus dessert tastes good, but slightly too sweet for me. The texture of the white fungus is good, well-cooked but retain their crunchiness still. continue reading

I went to sweet dynasty with my friends for a gathering. One of my friends recommends the food there. they served both western and asian cuisine. I opted for western. I ordered their grilled salmon, it was really good. the salmon was very fresh and sweet. it was grilled perfectly. You can choose what sauce over your salmon. I chose the lemon butter. There were teriyaki and sambal sauce. as a whole it was a great dish and they opened till 11pm which was good for us to catch up longer. continue reading

After clubbing one night, my friends and I felt hungry and decided to chill out somewhere for supper. We decided to try out this cafeteria as they had lots of traditional desserts to offer. I ordered a lychee shake that came with slices of grass jelly in it. The cup was quite tall and it costs me $2.80. Tastes different from the usual milk shakes as they used coconut milk in the drink. My friends tried their other desserts like seaseme paste and peach jelly dessert. The staffs were quite annoyed as we were their last customers and they couldn't wait for us to leave after eating. continue reading
