My family is not very adventurous and interesting, and since i was young, we have always gone to Swensen's to celebrate our birthdays! However, this doesn't dilute the fact the fact that Swensen's offers comfort food that my family never gets sick of! The black pepper pasta is always pretty spicy due to the heat from the black pepper! However, given the freshness of the seafood, we always get this when we go there! Great dish! I was visiting mom at Simei and found that many places has yet to start selling mooncakes accept for some large restaurant chains. Ordered a grilled chicken salad at Swensen's for lunch. What impresses me was their service speed. In 5 minutes from ordering, they were ready to deliver the food. However, the salad tasted all right only. The vegetable they used tasted bitter, I did not like it. It was served with thousand island dressing which was kind of boring. Mango delight ice cream cake is a superb birthday cake. Furthermore, it is affordable for an ice cream cake as it is only $47! The mango is rich and compliment the ice cream cake very well. The ice cream do not taste so creamy and overwhelm the taste of the mango! I like how they design the cake too, its just like a piece of art and the cake is spongy and soft. The ice cream do not melt easily too! A perfect cake for mango lover

Cheesy Baked mussel was delicious. You can actually pull the cheese out when eating. The mussel and cheese goes well together, the cheese did not overpower the mussel taste.American cheeseburger pizza was a special unique pizza that i have never eaten before. Eating this pizza is better than eating cheeseburger from mcdonalds. However, it contains beef.Pepperoni is a normal pizza that you can have anywhere but this one seems to have more pepperoni.

I am really disappointed with Swensen's lately. Their standard of food had been dropping. I ordered a Seafood Pasta this afternoon. The style of cooking was great and tasty. However, the ingredients weren't fresh ):My aunty ordered Fish & Chips. It was okay but the portion was smaller than expected. The fries was crunchy! (:Swensen's still have the best ice cream! (: Sticky Chewy Chocolate !

Clam chowder soup served in a bread - I like the idea of serving the soup in a bowl made of bread as it makes the whole thing edible. One can also dip the bread into the soup and eat it like that. It is very filling and should be shared among 2-3 people so that there will be space for other appetizers and main courses. There are no issues on the service side and I didn't have to wait long before I got a table.

Go try their ice cream buffet! It is amazing! Even though eating ice creams will make you fat, you would definitely enjoy the process of so much variety of the ice-cream and cakes you can eat! you will not regret! Needless to say, the quality is up to standard as it is Swensons, after all. It is worth it and the environment is great to relax and eat all these ice cream.

With its melted cheese spread over the hot spaghetti mixed with minced beef in tomato sauce, the taste is just heavenly. The sauce was generously filled with meat, not including the compact meatballs that top it. More cheese given would be better though. The beef meatballs were juicy and tasty, apart from being a tad too salty, it was great. The spaghetti was cooked perfectly, not too hard or too soft.This dish is a must order for meat lovers!

My go-to comfort food at Swensen's is the Beef Stroganoff Baked Rice. Basically it is strips of beef covered in thick oozy cheese and baked to lovely perfection. And they drizzle some delicious sauce to coat the rice too. The beef is tender and generous plus the cheese is very fragrant. I think there might be bits of onions too. Once you eat this, you will be too stuffed for their dessert.

During my cousin's birthday celebration, his family members have bought him an ice cream cake from Swensen at Tampines mall. The cake looks really nice and simple. Inside is totally filled with the strawberry ice cream, chocolate ice cream and vanilla ice cream. The combination was nothing special and for me, I still prefer to have the traditional birthday cake, which have cake sponge inside. Moreover, it is quite fast to melt as well. Bought golden ticket for Shin Min newspapers scratch and win. It got me a weekend breakfast one-for-one deal. Quite worth it. Buy one breakfast set and get the lower price set meal for free. I orderd Swensen's Sunrise Omelette. The mushrooms is slightly cold. The omelette is nice with tomato and onions within it. The exterior of the egg is nicely done to wrapped up the eggs. Delicious. Love this hot and cold dessert that is served with fluffy mashmellows at the side. The mashmellows would melt and form a crispy exterior when it hits the hot plate and the warm brownie goes really well with the large scoop of ice cream at the top of the brownie. The chocolate chips adds a nice chocolatety taste to the mashmellows and this is deifinitely a must get for any sweet tooth!

I love calamari rings, especially those that is fried and serve immediately and it’s still piping hot when it is served to you. Swensen’s quality of their calamari rings is tasty, if you start digging it immediately. The batter is not too thick and the calamari inside is not too overcooked. Dip it in the mayonnaise sauce given and this combination will blow you away.

Swensen's offer quite a few variety of fishes and i love the salmon here as it is not too well done. The salmon is served with mash potatoes that are really smooth and tastety! The cream sauce that complements the salmon is also really good and it goes really well with almost anything be it the fish or the vegetables at the side. Sprinkle a little pepper to add a little more heat and the dish is relly good.
