I am back at yet another SwissBake outlet for healthy, delicious food and drinks, as well as quiet ambience and friendly service. This time round, I visited the branch at Marina Bay Link MallThe Cream of Mushroom Soup (SGD$7.90) Is thick, rich and velvety, with lots of mushroom dices within the aromatic soup. Croutons added crispy bites to the soup, and it is awesome paired with wholemeal bread served on the side. This alone serves as a substantial meal.I also love their mini pastries at SGD$1.50 each - such as flakey butter Croissants with a fluffy interior, or the Cherry Rollover with a crispy exterior and tarty cherries within. The Beef Pastrami Salad (SGD$8.50) is another of my latest favorites from them. This sumptuous salad with lots of ingredients - succulent beef pastrami strips, slices of hard-boiled eggs, olives, lettuce, pickles, tomato etc, made for a healthy treat. Every bite was fresh and satisfying, and the beef was lightly salted to add flavour to the sweet vegetables. For full review and more detailed information, please feel free to drop by here:http://thearcticstar.blogspot.sg/2015/06/lunch-at-swissbake-mbfc.html continue reading

The chocolate croissant roll here is super duper delicious! The pastry itself is nice and buttery with good flavour and great texture in terms of flakiness. The croissant stands out because of the substantial amount of chocolate used in making it. The croissant is completely filled with good quality dark chocolate making the pastry super decadent and delicious! continue reading

Swiss bake has both sweet and savory pastries and I must say they have one of the widest varieties of pastries for a chain bakery. I normally get their chocolate Danish but decided to try the chicken pie instead. The pie was pretty good with a nice flaky crust with good flavour and a buttery aroma. The filling was chunky and tasty too! continue reading

Absolutely love the chocolate cone! It is filled with lots and lots of good quality chocolate. What makes it special is the proportion of chocolate to pastry, there is a lot more chocolate than most other pastry shops! The butter pastry goes really well with the smooth semi sweet chocolate filling especially when served warm when the chocolate oozes out with every bite continue reading

My husband and I like the coziness and the friendliness of Swiss Bake in Marina Bay. We often eat the Ham and Cheese Croissant in this place, and it is extremely good! I have tried a number of different sandwiches as well such as the smoked chicken, and I must say I have never been disappointed with the taste of their food, but what we usually go back for in swissbake is the variety of dessert that they offer. We have fallen in love with their chocolate roll, at $1 each and a 10% discount if you are a standard chartered card holder (employee or bank client), it is definitely one of the best $1 desserts I have had. They have baked pastries and puffs that I keep going back for, like their Apple Puff, their Chocolate Chip Cookies, Almond Cookies and one more addicting piece they have is their Chocolate Tulip Muffin, which is a moist chocolate muffin with a filling of nutella inside the muffin and chocolate chips on top and inside, which is just an explosion of chocolate inside my mouth. They also have meal sets that I am yet to try.Value for money is great, and it is definitely a healthy, delicious place to eat that I would recommend to all my friends. continue reading
