Swissbake (Closed)

Tucked at the corner of the bakery, there's little space for the seating area in the cafe, yet its cosy and you are able to indulge in smell of freshly baked bread and pastries. My swiss dining experience is about to get started. Wide selections, indecisive of what to order. My 3rd coffee of the day ~ CappuccinoHot chocolate with whipped cream Pumpkin carrot soup~ rich and flavourful, taste best with toasted croutons. Serving is too small for such delicious soup. This is one of my favourite bakeries in Singapore. You can smell the wonderful baking smells once you walk in. And for some reason, their products do not make me feel sick even if I eat lots of it. I love that they use premium ingredients and everything is very fresh and clean. Their trays are very clean too! The cookies here are fantastic! It's a simple cookie but it is SO GOOD. Had the orange brioche bun. It was very orangey with a slice of candied orange on top. There are a few pieces of orange in the brioche as well. It is best eaten with butter. The candied orange is very sweet so there is no need for jam. Overall, a wonderful brioche. It's hard to go wrong at SwissBake. I love all their products! They really pay great attention to the smallest details from ingredients to presentation. Can't recommend them enough. Very good bakery!

The service here is quite polite and efficient. The quality at Swiss Bake, like at Bread talk, is usually consistent and reliable. Swiss Bake must use more preservatives since their cakes seem to sit on the shelves for quite a few days. Everytime I go by, the same cakes are sitting in the same position.I do see quite a few people buying a few cakes during the weekends, straight off the shelves. Maybe it's more expensive so the turnover isn't as fast as it should be.

Spoilt for choice. Like seriously! When you set foot into this bakery, you'll see quality and wholesome pastries, breads and even subs, at affordable prices! I tried their quiche the other day, and boy, I am pleased to say that they are going the right way~ They offer their mini pastries at 5 pieces Get 1 free (WORTH IT). I also sampled their orange hazelnut cake that day.. AHHHHHH IT'S SO GOOD GOOD GOOD! Going back for more!

I have really no idea what these are called. Knowing I like crispy stuff, my cousin brought this for me when she came to our house for a visit. I was eagerly anticipating its taste - I am guessing it would be like thin wafers which taste a little sweet. And I was quite accurate - these are really good snacks to munch on with coffee or tea. The sesame seeds on top add on a fragrance to the biscuit which gives it more plus points.

These mini hazelnut whirls are crunchy, sweet and yummy! This finger food is easy to eat in their mini size. The hazelnut taste is so fragrant and the sugar coating make this yummy whirls looks very appearing and nice. Each is at ninety-five cents, and they having this long term promotion: buy three pieces and you will get the fourth piece for free. Great for mini party! My verdict: 7/10

Bought this 1-1 petite cake at night as it was on offer!Normal price was $17.50 for 1 cake but now it is 2 cakes for the price of $17.50 and so my friend bought it as well! The cake was surprisingly nice even though it may not look that appealing to sight. Thumbs up!

We were drawn into SwissBake by its delicious smells and the wide variety of pastries tempted us so much, we bought 6 little pastries and a custard roll!I loved the custard roll, with its flaky crust and sweet custard.
