My dad brought me to this stall when it was still situated at Clark Quay. It has since moved to Sims Place Market and Food Centre. A set for 1 with duck meat, extra rice, tau kua and eggs cost only $4.70. The chilli is also superb. With a bit of vinegar in the chilli, it makes the meat more appetising. It only opens after 10am and closes before dinner. Lunchtime comes with long waiting time!!

Tai Dong Teochew Braised Duck shop is always crowded during lunch hours. So be there early to avoid waiting. The duck rice is simply good and it always leaves me wanting for more. We ordered half duck and rice to share which costs us around $10 for the meal. The price is reasonable for the quality of food.

Though I am not a fan of duck, I love to visit this stall as the food is simply delicious! The duck is really well marinated and juicy. The side dishes such as the peanuts and cabbage also taste very good (hence, do order them as well if you have a chance to visit this place!). Given that this place is kinda crowded during lunch time, you may want to come slightly earlier (11.30am instead of 12 noon) so that you do not have to wait for seats.

The duck rice at Tai Dong Teochew Braised Duck located at Circular Quay is really good. The duck were braised and you can smell the fragrant aroma from the meat of the duck. The amount of sauce is just right, not making the duck taste too salty. The rice grains were cooked with the right amount of water, therefore they were neither too soft nor hard.

For a quarter duck, egg and rice for two persons, it costs us $11. Quite a reasonable meal I would say. The food never fails me each time I’m there as the standard is always good.

Yes, I will definitely come back for more.
