Tonight have a simple dinner gathering with two of my good friends.  We decided to settle down in this steamboat restaurant as not many people inside so we can have a much peaceful dinner and have a great chat there. The restaurant was not really that big, but is still consider quite comfortable and cooling.  Service staffs here are quite attentive and friendly.  We had the buffet dinner at $35.90 which is still consider reasonable.  We have chosen the mala and chicken soup base, which for me I prefer the spicy mala soup base which is appetizing and very spicy.  Items available for the steamboat are quite fresh and varieties are enough to please your tummy.  Love the shitake mushroom which taste great in both the soup base.  Besides, the thinly sliced pork belly as well as the sliced chicken meats are chewy and fresh too.  We had a really enjoyable dinner here. continue reading

We order their eel and chicken chop set meal with intestine, braised egg, tofu and vegs ordered, love their bento set so much, and for the sides dishes, we like their braised egg, tofu, like what we ate in taiwan. intestine smell very strong, maybe not wash properly, vegs also nice, taiwan taste. overall their food quality is very good with very generous portion. highly recommended for their set meal. continue reading

I bought street deal voucher for $17.90 nett for steamboat buffet here and it definitely didn't disappoint me! Went there on a weekday night and the service is quite good. The staff are friendly and the food menu includes 1 taiwan side dish, 1 taiwan main dish, 1 drink, 1 dessert and unlimited steamboat ingredients where you can take yourself from the counter. Meat is unlimited too and you can eat for as long as you want! continue reading

The FoodI ordered the special stewed beef noodles set meal which come with 2 side dishes (radish omelet and braised pig intestines). The noodle is springy and I like the beef because tender and soft in texture which is very different from Singapore beef noodlesAs for the soup is flavorful & have the natural beef sweetness hence can tell has been cooked for few hours. The ServiceThe waitress is a polite and friendly Taiwanese from the accent and tone when she asked me what I want to order. The waiting time also acceptable as the food were served to me shortlyThe AmbienceAs I went on weekend night, I was surprised inside not so crowded and the place quite small and cosy with chinese pop music being played in the background. Is a good place for chilling out with friends. The PriceA bit over-priced at $15.90 for set but worth the money to enjoy Taiwan dishes in Singapore. OverallI will definitely come back again to try other dishes and highly recommended to try this! continue reading

After eating steamboat at bugis, we walk around to find supper. And we found a shop which suitable for young generation to have chit chat there and have a nice gathering with friend. The price for dessert is reasonable there. This bubble tea is not too sweet and i like the "bai xiang" smell, it is just so smooth to go into mouth. And not too much ice is given, you can choose your dessert and chatting with your friend whole night there. Really enjoy continue reading
