Independent-able dinning idea, it was quick meal fix no matter in office cubicle or long travel journey. Menu was hassle-free, just simply pick your favourite main course and beverage, not difficult to understand. Comforting shape with Braised broth and Fried Chicken Cutlet, there was fluffy rice hidden at the bottom. Drooling tempted to start it up, presentation caught my fully attention. Starchy gravy coated over the Dried Tofu, it was juicy and well accompanied crusty fragrant chicken bite. Served along with a Winter Melon Tea, refreshing drinks was getting rid of the greasiness after Bento. Approximately $7.00, I was so addicted for it. continue reading

I was at Central mall yesterday together with my hubby. We didn't want to spend too much on lunch, so we went to the basement for our lunch. We saw this stall just which looks quite alright and since there are empty seats, we decided to have our lunch there. The space is quite small, I think only 20 people can sit but it seems like people eat and go, plus the food is also served within 5 minutes of ordering, so it is rather fast. My hubby and I ordered the $4 Chicken Cutlet rice to share as we had a heavy breakfast. It comes with the chicken cutlet, some baked beans, cabbage dressing and rice. The chicken cutlet is quite normal tasting and it is lukewarm. It is not fresh from the fryer which is a pity as it is not very crispy and the chicken meat is not juicy. The serving is definitely worth it for the price, but it would be much better if the cutlet is warmer. continue reading
