I came here all because of their dessert. So after taking our main dish, I quickly made order from them. There will be a long queue forming during working lunch hour.Today just 2 more person ahead of me.I order 1 bowl of "dou fu hua" @ S$1 each (heard it was 50cents previously, my hb said that the dessert is very smooth and not too sweet. For me I love their Aiyu Ice. Very refreshing their Aiyu taste better than Koi... LolI will come again for their Aiyu drink it is S$1.50 per cup. continue reading

Oh my god. Where to find 50 cents beancurd in Singapore!? Of course, after getting some breads at the Serangoon Gardens Way Bakery, I went to the famous Tan Soon Mui Stall to grab a cup of Ice Jelly Drink ($1.50) and a Grass Jelly Drink for $1.00. For a $1 drink, you would expect it to be small cup, but you're very very wrong. For $1, you can get a big cup of Grass Jelly Drink, with generous grass jelly bites included in the drink. Also, the drink is sweet enough, not like most drinks stall that are very stingy on sugar syrup. As for the $1.50 Ice Jelly Drink, actually it taste preety normal, just like normal ice jelly. continue reading

The FoodI ordered the soya beancurd which is served in a unique porcelain bowl. The beancurd is soft and smooth with a traditional soya bean flavour. The sweet syrup used is just right hence does not tasty overly sweet for all those eldery people who are health conscious and also make it a good dessert to finish off my main meals. The PriceAt only 50 cents a bowl, it must be the cheapest in Singapore!OverallI will definitely come back again and highly recommended to try this! continue reading

Oh my god! Where else can you find dao huei at this price these days? Though it's not one of the silkiest ones out there, it is way worth the 50 cents. Serving, for me, was a tad too little, so I ordered 2 bowls instead. Personally, I think it's way better than Selegie's famous beancurds. continue reading
