i went to tao restaurant with the the family. after eating this dish, i must strongly recommend to everyone. i personally think that it is a must order dish. what is it? it is their fruit salad. the entire dish is very light, not very fattening. love their generousity with the fruits!

I've been visiting Tao's for a few years. I always remember leaving the place feeling full and satisfied, as if I've just had a buffet. However this time, I noticed that the portion for some of the dishes has shrunk slightly. If you've never been to Tao's, I highly recommend you to try out this place.

Their fruit salad was cooling and tasty! A very refreshing dish. Main dish i had marinated rack of lamb. I heard a lot of raves thus decided to try it. The lamb meat is very tender and fragrant. Marinated very well. Love it! I ordered rose apple tea. It comes in a pot. Pretty cooling and refreshing drink i must say. Not too sweet too. Lastly, desserts are tiramisu and pudding. Both are equally nice!

I like the cream of mushroon soup here at Tao cos its not too creamy and not not too diluted, the texture is just right. And it has small bits of mushroom among the creamy soup. If you are mushroon soup lover, i think this should be the one for you.And I quite like the pork rib here in Tao also. The taste is just right, not too strong and not overly done. The ambience and eating environment is quite cosy and comfortable.

My Hubby and I had lunch at Tao, 6-course set lunch at 19.90++ each. Prices are very reasonable and service was good despite the lunch crowd, the staff's service was prompt and attentive. Ambience over there very normal but i think it is still a good place for group gathering with my friends. Think about group gathering, long time never done so, can consider calling my ex-classmates.. Hehe.

Tao's never fail to hook the taste bud of customers with its starter. My 2 foreigner frens were pleasantly impressed. I've always been ordering Lamp Chop as it's really good with the special mint sauce, this time I decided to try their steak. Turn out I love the steak even more! It's really tender & cooking time was just right. Just that it's better if they have something else rather than creamy mushroom sauce as it's too filling. My fren said the brownie was very nice, I had very nice creme brulee but I couldn't finish was really too full. Apple tea was abit too bland this time but my frens love it so much they even ate all the apple inside.

I'm happy to see my frens happy & satisfied!

I've brought many ppl there for gatherings & celebrations & it seems much more popular among girls~ All my girls got hooked from the starter & end the meal smiling with with a super full stomach. While the guy frens didn't have any special feeling.

Service was excellent esp the first visit, explanations of the meal & choices was thorough, waiters are all very observant on when to serve the next dish, opening wet tissue packs for us when they see we are having the lamb chops.

Sometimes I just revisit for the sake of the addictive fixed starter. Personal fav sequence is fruit salad, mushroom/pumpkin soup, steak/lamp, creme brule & rose apple tea.

This is my fav place to have lamb chop I just love the mint sauce tat comes with it~

Like what my fren say, it's the price of a buffet, but feel even more full than a buffet dinner~

This is pretty backtracked. Had dinner with my family here earlier this year. Ordinary quality of food but wide variety of choices. $19.90++ for a six course lunch. Wouldn't say it's value for money though because standard of cooking and serving was just very average joe. Not sure which genre the restaurant is categorized to but it seems like fusion to me.

Tao's has a very interesting concept where one gets to choose from a few varieties for the either 6 or 7 course. The choices are all so appealing, it's really hard to make a choice. In the end, I tried to order differently from my friend so we could share and try different dishes. The tea was served in a very refreshing way (and tasted the same way too!)Heavenly is the steak, tasting the best at its medium rare state. Do remember to come with an almost empty stomach coz you'll definitely want to

Do remember to come with an almost empty stomach coz you'll definitely want to leave room for the sweet desserts! (after all the main course and stuff)

The concept is straightforward: “One price, One Menu, Many Selections” ($19.90++ for 6 course lunch/ $29.80++ for 7 course dinner) and the fusion menu is a mishmash of modern European and oriental dishes.Instead of the gratin, my starter is off the menu (it’s actually the starter on JuJu’s menu, how convenient to have a sister restaurant next door haha) and this is my favourite dish of the day! Hard not to love eggs, especially when said egg is a 70% semi-boiled beauty with a semi-solid yolk,

Instead of the gratin, my starter is off the menu (it’s actually the starter on JuJu’s menu, how convenient to have a sister restaurant next door haha) and this is my favourite dish of the day! Hard not to love eggs, especially when said egg is a 70% semi-boiled beauty with a semi-solid yolk, served with cold tofu and a small slice of yellowtail. Extremely simple but terribly good!

I hardly ever find fault with unagi, just because I like it so much that even an average one will make me happy. Thumbs up for Tao’s rendition of the grilled Japanese unagi which was soft and tender. I like. Pity that the portion was very small though.
