Had a flight to Vietnam and I had time for a quick bite at TCC. The smoked duck pasta was recommended as one of the quickest dish that could be prepared so I went for it. It was so good I slurped up the whole dish in less than 10 mins cause even Mr Heng who was sharing the dish with me also agreed it was a great dish!Great flavors with ample amount of sauce. Was there after a hearty lunch, to discuss some projects. Ordered its Halloween Special, which serves 2 pax and also a Milky Choc Mousse w/Raspberry Coulis. I'm really amazed by its desserts once again, the halloween special is really special, with both sweet and savoury selection. Was glad to know that this TCC outlet is opened 24 hours, and serves all day breakfast. Having tried many of their mains before, I decided to give their breakfast a try. I got the English Muffins - 2 ways; one of it was topped with scrambled eggs, ham and melted cheese, the other is a sweet one, with raisins and mango custard. I liked the crispy muffins, and this sweet and savory combi was great. Price tag of $11.90++ was also reasonable.The Baby Crayfish Salad ($15.90++) is great, and my mum loved it as well. Generous portions of crayfish, and the slight spiciness in the salad dressing made the whole dish very appetizing. The Almond Creme Brulee Latte ($7.90++) was fragrant and there was a slight almond taste.Lastly, the cute Halloween Tea Set ($14.90++) that comes with a tea or coffee, available till end October. I loved the presentation of the platter, the scones were good with cream and jam; the chocolate mousse and cookie monster cupcake were very cute, and I liked the pumpkin cheese cake. The Connoisseur Concerto is a chain of cafes which offers gourmet food and creative beverages. Although located at the airport, it is quite crowded.As Halloween is coming, this month it is offering a Halloween theme high tea set which available everyday from 2pm - 6pm at $14.95++. The set comes with a serving of coffee or tea. The cakes are very pretty decorated. There is banana cupcake, scones served with cream and jam, cheese cake, chocolate cake, meat tart and scallop. It is very interesting having the scallop wrapped in black 'hair'.The café also offers whole day breakfast. One of the dishes is Berries and Banana Morning Enchantment ($10++). The freshly made fluffy pancakes are served with caramelised banana slices, fresh strawberries, blueberries and raspberries. Although the pancake is thick, it is delicious as it is crispy outside and tastes like butter cake inside. A new drink in this menu is Honey Citrus Fizz ($6.90) which is quite fruity as it is made of orange, mango, honey and soda.If anyone of you is a vegetarian, try Olive & Mushroom Pomodoro Tagliatelle ($17.50++). There is no onion therefore suitable for Chinese vegetarian too. It is a pasta dish with olives and mushroom in a tomato sauce. Simple and delicious.Another tasty pasta dish is Mentaiko Crab Baton Spaghetti ($18.50++). The simple mentaiko dressing makes it a tasty meal.Overall the food is not bad. Since my gf have 50% discount we decided to go TCC for dinner. We choose to go T3 cos they serve all day breakfast as my gal love to eat their hotcakes! We ordered Hearty Breakfast with eggs & srooms, morning egg & ham stack, Berries & banana morning enchantment. My gf was very disappointed with her order (hearty breakfast) the bread was hard and she even commented that Mcdonald breakfast was much worth eating. As for my gal she ordered the morning egg & ham was quite nice the pancake itself was very thick and no complain for another dish so it should be good as maple syrup was served together with it the combination was good. Decided to chill out at the TCC @ Terminal 3 while waiting to fetch a friend. I had the Toffee Choc Frappe as I've been a fan to Toffee. Presentation of the drink is decent, with the blended espresso coffee topped up with cream and toffee sauce. Taste wise... it was a little sweet compare to what I had before, but it is still acceptable. Will be good if there's more toffee sauce added. The environment of the place is quite relaxing, but it can get too crowded suddenly due to the crowd from the newly arrived planes. But overall it is enjoyable experience. …Read More

TCC has lots of different cakes available. We bought a full Raspberry Dark Chocolate Cake for a birthday celebration as it was convenient. Was quite disappointed with the cake though. Expected a cake from TCC to be pretty good or at least average however it was quite a disappointment. The cake sponge was really dry and quite tasteless tasting pretty dried out and old. Decide to go TCC at Changi Airport T3 Arrival Hall for supper and chilling since it is open for 24 hours. We are not very hungry and so we only ordered a platter and a cheese cake to share. 3 of us ordered a drink each too.Zesta Cheesecake. Nice cheesecake. Cost of the cheesecake: $6.00The Deluxe Snack Platter that consist of onion rings, Mozza Stick and Shrooms Bite. Cost: $16.80A close up view of the Shrooms Bite, it is puff pastry filled with a sautéed mushroom ragout. I like this, the mushroom ragout is fragrant, taste like eating puff pastry with thick mushroom soup. Very yummy.Close up view of the Mozza Stick. It is Crispy breaded cheese stick that will ooze meltingly soft mozzarella cheese. I find it a bit tasteless if eaten on its own but it taste nice with the provided tomato dip. The tomato dip enhances the cheese taste.The close up view of the onion ring. Nothing special, just the normal onion ring.Fruitti Delight, $7.00. A very refreshing sparkling drink with fresh fruit in it. The soda together with the fruity syrup make the drink a little sour and sweet. Nice drink.Latte Mocha, $7.50. Second time dining at TCC ;DWe decided to dine at TCC as it’s my mum’s birthday month and we are entitled to 50% off all items as my mum is a TCC member holder.There was a queue even though we got there quite ate at around 8+.We waited for a while and got a seat for 4 in around 15minutes.ServiceThe service was average. Probably they were too busy with the crowd, it took us quite some time to get the attention for order taking.The waiters/waitresses are quite friendly and polite.(:The items are served within 20minutes upon ordering and the waitress do remember what we individually ordered.The food are served to us respectively without us having to direct it. There are some mistakes in billing for our table and the one next to us initially.We have yet to ask for bill but one of the waiters brought the bill to us. They did make the effort to explain to us and overall the service is good even though there are mistakes. The crab is the real crab meat shaped into a crabmeat-like/mentaiko shape.The crab meat isn’t a lot but it is a satisfying one ;DThe sauce is quite a lot and it has a taste of cheese tasted in the orange sauce.I’m not sure of the base of the sauce but it is really special that I’ve never tasted before.It goes really well with the spaghetti and the crab, and the whole dish gave a Japanese feel.The crab is really fresh. Perhaps I’m not a total seafood lover, the seafood freshness did cause me to be a little resistive of the dish at the end of it.But it is pretty obvious the standard is above average and it’s definitely worth it for an indulging meal ;DSidesMozza Stick and prawn cheese toastThe mozza stick was a disappointment. I was expecting a melting cheesy stick but the cheese within is more or less hardened and is not really warm when served.Luckily it came with a warm tomato dip which spiced up the flavours.It would be nearly perfect if the mozza sticks are served hot and fresh.The prawn cheese toast is delicious and special ;DThe amount of prawn is just right for each portion and the toast is moderately toasted to give a crispy texture and yet retains slight softness. Complemented with the cheese and prawn, the bite-size toast is tasty and appetising DessertsZestiny(Lime parfait studded with raspberries and light-as-air lemon meringue)Puffy Triplets(Three profiteroles with rich chocolate ice cream atop a fine almond-espresso financier)The zestiny is a nice combination of sweetness and sourness.Not too extreme on either. There are real berries topped too ;DEven if you are really full from the main courses, these desserts are the right choice to satisfy your sweet tooth without stuffing your stomach ;DThe puffy triplets base hints a tinge of espresso and goes well with the chocolate ice cream topped on it. The macaroon-like biscuits that sandwiched the scoops of ice cream are plain and simple, and it does not complicate the combination.Each dessert has its own unique attractions. If I were to choose one out of this two, I would prefer the zestiny as it is really suitable for an after meal indulgence. The food here are tasty and the staffs here are friendly too. I always like to order their Shrooms bite, which the butter pastry is very fluffy and crispy on the outside, and moist on the inside. The breakfast menu at tcc looks very attractive and yummy, even though it was late at night and it doesn't seems normal to eat breakfast food. But who cares? We are hungry, we just want to fill our growling tummy! I'd a craving for scrambled eggs and so I ordered the breakfast set which appears to have the biggest serving of scrambled eggs. The scrambled eggs were really very delicious! It had a nice flavour and it doesn't has the taste of raw egg smell which some mediocre scrambled eggs carried. The sauteed mushrooms were delicious too. I really like this dish although it is a little expensive for eggs and mushrooms at $12.90 but it was money well-spent after a long and tiring day :) On a side note, my friends ordered the pancakes which were thick and fluffy and english muffin in 2 ways. This 24hours TCC outlet at Changi Terminal 3 is popular among locals who are picking up arriving passengers and those seeking supper in the wee hours. We had reservation for 7pm but when we were on our way there the staff called to say the place was full and we would have a table only at 7:30pm. Well.... Both the food menu and the drinks menu have been revamped. Prices are higher now :-(. Food menu has been streamlined so there is less choice now. Many new teas and non coffee beverages have been added to the drinks menu.We ordered the yuzu tea, mint choc frappe, wafu beef pasta and chicken breast. Yuzu tea had no taste of yuzu and was overpriced at $9++. Mint choc frappe $8.50++ was too sweet with the syrup overshadowing the cocoa taste. Server didnt ask how wewould like the beef done for the Japanese inspired wafu pasta $20.50++ and served it well done. This was tasty. The only chicken entree on the new menu - Chicken Breast Shogayaki $22++ was overcooked, dry and tough while the sliced potatoes served with it were slightly undercooked and hard. I would have preferred chicken thigh but that has been taken off the new menu. We ordered tiramisu $6.50++ and berry yoghurt $6.20++for dessert. We waited more than 20minutes and had to prompt a server before they funally brought dessert, which we later realized were ready to serve items sitting in the cake display case all along.The tiramisu was good but the berry yoghurt was no big deal - there was hardly any yoghurt and it was more like a berry jam trifle. Had a pot of Peppermint Tea here yesterday while i was waiting for the arrival of my friend. Love the smell and taste of the tea. It had the right amount of aroma and taste to it. My parents order the iced tea which was served in a cute glass. Looks quite appealing.
