Full review - http://midas400.blogspot.sg/2015/06/dinner-at-tcc-bugis-junction.htmlLast birthday celebration of the month, we are going to enjoy half price dining at TCC using my member birthday voucher. We decided on the Bugis outlet as my friend wanted to buy stuffs from Pandora. It has been a while since we last visited this branch, the restaurant had been through a complete face lift!As we were all hungry, we placed orders pretty quickly after reading the menus. Some drink to quench our thirst while waiting for the food to be served. I had the Lychee & Rock Melon Melody, which was sweet and refreshing. My friends picked the Iced Pinktrus Passion Tea, a blend of grapefruit with passion fruit. We have mixed review over this fruity tea probably due to a slight bitter aftertaste from the grapefruit peels, some like it some don't.Next up were the Soup, Salad and Sides.Baby Crayfish Salad, fresh greens with chunks of crayfish meat topped with chili mayo dressing and tobiko roe. This was as delish as we remembered it to be.Spicy Hot Wings, these were passable, no wow factor though. Crispy Soft Shell Crab, I liked this dish better cos of the tangy dip which goes really well with the crab.My friend's Seafood Escapade soup, no complains from her.My Oven Roasted Spring Chicken, was excellently cooked to perfection, meat was moist, tender and nicely flavored with brown juice. Very good!My friends had pasta, Seafood Aglio Olio which was an all time favorite dish from TCC, and Clack & Clams Crayfish Pasta, lavished with generous amount of baby crayfish and fresh clams. Both were a hit with their diners. We were filled to the brim by the time we're done with our main courses. So we decided not to order desserts. Food and service level here had maintained at expected standards. We will be back again!

I believe we are all no strangers to The Coffee Connoisseur (aka TCC) with their comfortable couch seats, wide selection of coffee prepared in myriad ways, array of delectable cakes and desserts, as well as rather tasty + affordable savoury dishes. They have been around for years, constantly upgrading their menus, having alternated between halal-ized and non-halalized, even changing names... but they still have many outlets across Singapore, and everyone should have visited at least one before.I recently got to try the Cherry Opera Dome Cake (SGD$7.50) as well. A rich cake with a coarse exterior but velvety smooth interior, oozing chocolately flavor in every bite. What I loved most were the chocolate macaroons mounted on the sides of the dome-shaped cake, with hints of mint flavor to them.Besides coffee, they have two rather interesting drinks lately as well - namely the Royal Passion A'more (SGD$14.50) - white wine with a refreshing citrus note of yuzu and passionfruit, a zesty drink perfect for a warm evening out.For full review and more photographs, please feel free to visit:http://thearcticstar.blogspot.sg/2015/01/lunch-at-tcc-bugis-junction.html

ordered Wagyu beef pasta at TCC and it was really good! Pasta is filled with sauce and it was complementary to each other! The beef was cooked well too so it was tender and soft. The dessert was awesome too! Chocolate panna cotta was good as it was not too sweet yet the taste lingers in your mouth!

February is my dad's birthday month and as he's a member, we got to enjoy 50% off our total bill! The previous time I was at TCC, I saw a whole table of women ordering their ribeye steak. It must be pretty good hence I chose to order that today! Ribeye Steak $32I selected medium for the doneness of the beef, and there was just the slightest tinge of red when you slice the meat. Their steak was really really good! It was tender and moist, and the accompanying sauce was really yummy too, slightly sweet. It's supposedly espresso barbeque sauce (as stated on the menu) but don't worry it's not bitter at all. There were also some grilled veg such as baby carrots, long beans and capsicum, and 3 breaded potato cheddar cakes. They were ok, crispy on the outside and mashy on the inside (because of the mashed potato). I couldn't really taste the cheese though. Passionfruit Yuzu Tea $7.40 I was craving for something light and refreshing and this looked like just the thing I needed. Indeed, the ice tea was really refreshing, just the thing I needed on a hot sunny afternoon. It really helps to quench your thirst. You could also find some yuzu peels and nata de coco in the cup. This drink was great but I wished the yuzu taste could be stronger as I couldn't really taste it. Overall their food was great and my family members loved what they ordered too. We all felt that their food is way better than what we had expected. Will definitely be back to try the other dishes

I was curious what TCC offered at the Store and went into the store to take a look. I was surprised that TCC do sell Pineapple Tarts. The tarts are unique. The crew was generous in the portion. I was offered a full piece rather than crumble one. The tart has an unique design. It shows the picture of lovely terry bear and it is not to butterly and yet crispy. The pineapple is not too sweet nor big portion. The size of the tart is similar to size of fishball, round in shape, instead of flat. TCC is selling the tart at $18.80 during the valid period. It comes in 2 boxes. Each box contains 10 tarts of individual packing. The crew was courteous and patient to explain the details of TCC tart. The restaurant was quiet and well lighted.
