A whole day out calls for a much needed coffee break in between. We shared a Sumatra Mandheling and a Tarte Tatin Latte. This is my first time trying a drink from the Gourmet coffee section and I must say that I do not know how to appreciate it. It had quite a sourish taste. For the second drink, I decided to try a different flavoured latte this time and ordered the Tarte Tatin latte, which is a rendition of the good ol' apple tart. We ordered some desserts to share, Pinana Landing and Devil-misu. The cake for the pinana landing is a little too dry and the Devil-misu is not nice at all.. it does not taste and look like tiramisu, to me, I think it looks more like a mousse drink, not nice at all, thick and not much of coffee taste.

Given the kind of service and food quality, I doubt I will ever return to TCC at MBS again.

We also ordered a few items but it was out of stock. It is quite disappointing as we were there to celebrate a happy occasion.

For main course, I ordered the Pan-seared Chicken Breast w/ Shogayaki Sauce $22.00++. The chicken breast was well marinated and cooked just right, meat was tender, not tough. The shogayaki sauce was really yummy.

Tea set (see photo) comprises two crumbly scones, canapes and two chocolatey petit fours, with a cup of the house brewed coffee or English Breakfast tea for just $13.90++. The canapes are tasty and morerish, but I found the frosted chocolate cake too sweet. TCC should consider replacing one of the two scones with a savoury finger sandwich or a light choux pastry or macaron.

Service was polite and unobtrusive, making this a conducive place for a tete-a-tete between friends. The only gripe is spending here does not earn one any Sands Lifestyle Reward Points.

Buffed Up Buffalo Wings are coated with greased like substances as shown in the picture. Chicken Wings are tossed in their homemade sweet & spicy sauce. It's very flavourful. Although the menu did mention that it is spicy, it's not. My friend who dont take spicy food actually find this acceptable.

With a scoop of vanilla ice cream in Apple Alamode and some powdered cinnamon over the ice cream tastes special. I dont fancy apple pies and at the bottom of the drink, they have chunks of preserved apple cubes that tastes like apple pie.

Crusty Chicken w/ Wasabi Goma Dip
Lovingly slow-cooked to seal in aromas then coated with bonito flakes and fried, this breaded chicken breast is accented with a wasabi sesame dip. I did not finish the whipped potato by the sides as it was simply too full for my stomach after all.

Service
Service is above average. They are attentive and polite and this is what I like about TCC.

Ambience
They have very comfortable chairs and you can see that customers usually dozed off and relax after their meal on the comfortable cushioned chairs. It is a good place to laze around on a weekend and enjoy your food at a slower pace.

Price
After 50% discount on all the food. We paid about $155 for 4 pax. Its a good meal! Being a member of TCC, I will make definite returns trip to their outlets.

Recommendation / Tips
Food and presentation is good.

I have been to Tcc lots of time, and I have been dining at quite a few eateries in Marina Bay Sands. However, it's my first visit to the Tcc at MBS! I ordered the Peachy Passion Tea Freeze for the first time. The fruity drink is very refreshing! The mini burger has a pieces of bak kwa on top of toasted bread top with mayo and some pickle and fish roe, it was very yummy. Sis had the salmon sitting on the rice crispies, she said it was tasty & gives a nice crunchy texture.

The Hi-Tea set is $13.90++. It comes with coffee or tea served with a cookies.
