For every month, TCC would come up with different designs of High Tea Set at approximately the price of $15++ inclusive of tea or coffee. I was here with my friend the other day because of their 1 for 1 lunch. We were expecting the food here to be pretty decent.Rib eye with black pepper sauce and potato.This is my friend's dish and nothing is fantastic about it. the potato is a bit too hard to his liking too. TCC is always a good place for a meal or just desserts; their menu is quite extensive and offers mains like fish, pastas, snacks, etc. I decided to get the Beef Brisket Baked Rice - which had chunks of stewed beef brisket in it. The sauce and melted cheese went well with the baked rice, and the beef chunks were rather tender. However, like other baked rice, this was very filling, so it's better to order one to share, along with other snacks for small eaters.

TCC has many different types of cakes available for both dine in and takeaway. We tried a takeaway cake this time, the chocolate truffle raspberry one. The cake was very decadent and rich in terms of flavour, and the raspberry taste was nice and complemented the strong chocolate flavour well with some fruitiness. Yet the cake sponge was too average in terms of taste with no strong flavour on its own. The mousse was what saved the day.

FoodGolden Idako is "shiokingly" good. While waiting for our friends to join us, we ordered this plate of fried idako. The sour taste plum like sauce is perfect blend for the soft fried idako. It may seems soggy after deep fried but its really good. Presentation wise, they are served stacking altogether in a cup. $10.80 well spent!Baby Crayfish Salad for $15.00 is one of my favourite dish too. Crayfish are fresh. Leafy greens are good for health... Forget about the mayo and cream sauce it used.

I always like to go to the TCC at Raffles Place Exchange. The staffs there are super friendly, always with big smile on face, and greet customers sincerely.We had the Baby Crayfish Spaghetti, our favourite pasta of all time. TCC has always been one of the popular places in which people choose to visit for drinks with friends given the nice environment and the huge variety of drinks. Ordered the Oero shake from TCC. Despite it being a milk shake, it is not too sweet (unlike milk shake from most places). I also like it because I can taste the oero bits in the milk shake. However, I find that it is relatively expensive. To have a drink at TCC, one has to spend at least $10 as the drinks genrally cost $8++.

Lks ordered a slice of Classic Marble Cheesecake. It was indeed a rather huge piece, a nice slab of cheese ready to makeour mouth sticky from all that cheesyness.I ordered the Milky Choc Mousse with Raspberry Coulis. The outer coating of 'brown sand' was not perfect, with manyuncoated gaps around (I photoshopped it to make it looked better). We decided to share this platter of Tako Skewer & Mentaiko Hotate. Just nice they came in fours and each of us got tohave one and enjoy without having a headache of splitting the food into parts. It was after my workout session and TCC came to my mind to have afternoon tea. TCC has a great high-tea set change every month and I really love it. It come with a cup of coffee or tea. As this is the month of April, there have the Easter high-tea set. Nice chocolate concoction. Forgot what it's called. TCC has nice cutesy cakes. And lots of chocolate cakes. Costs about $6++ per piece. Doesn't taste too fresh - seems to have been sitting on the shelf for a couple of days? Still, it's hard to go wrong with chocolate. Very small piece of dessert that is gobbled up in one go! We've been having lunch at TCC almost daily!Today we had the Salmon Mentaiko pasta which had an egg and fresh salmon slices on top. It was fantastic! Best pasta so far! Nice flavours and spices!
