For every month, TCC would come up with different designs of High Tea Set at approximately the price of $15++ inclusive of tea or coffee. Adorable presentation aside, the food was good. I like their scones very much, but this was a chocolate chip scone unlike the usual cranberry scone I had for the past few months. I didn't like chocolate chip much as it was too sweet for me. The macaroons were, too sweet as well, and so I left them untouched. On the other hand, the savoury ones tasted really good, especially the one with the meat chunk on top

It was all altogether a delicate assembly of festive delights that will satisfy your palate definitely! Yeah Like

TCC is always a good place for a meal or just desserts; their menu is quite extensive and offers mains like fish, pastas, snacks, etc. I decided to get the Beef Brisket Baked Rice - which had chunks of stewed beef brisket in it. The sauce and melted cheese went well with the baked rice, and the beef chunks were rather tender. However, like other baked rice, this was very filling, so it's better to order one to share, along with other snacks for small eaters.

TCC has many different types of cakes available for both dine in and takeaway. We tried a takeaway cake this time, the chocolate truffle raspberry one. The cake was very decadent and rich in terms of flavour, and the raspberry taste was nice and complemented the strong chocolate flavour well with some fruitiness. Yet the cake sponge was too average in terms of taste with no strong flavour on its own. The mousse was what saved the day.

Red Hot Chicken Spaghetti is delicious. A plate of it costs $19.00. The taste of the sauce doesn't over power the spaghetti, not too salty and perfectly suits our taste buds.

Pan-Seared Chicken Breast with shogayaki sauce
Marinated chicken breast exquisitely matched with shogayaki sauce and a mild edamame cream. Served with onion-roasted potatoes, lotus root slices and broccolini.
I should said a dish worth your taste buds. It's really good.

Pan-fried salmon with citrus white wine sauce
Fork-tender salmon dressed with lavish white wine sauce and lemon salsa. Served with a side of garden accompaniment. The salmon doesnt has any fishy smell and the white wine sauce with the lemon salsa is simply a great combination. Even it's pan-fried, the salmon still tastes ok, not dry. Never know pan fried salmon can taste so good. Unbelievable.

Chicken & Mushroom Spaghetti is yummy too. The spaghetti is cooked in a rich and smooth creamy sauce with chicken and plenty of mushroom. The presentation might not be too pretty but the pasta sauce itself is comforting and very satisfying.

For desserts, we had the Perfect Pairing. The presentation is gorgeous! Frozen parfait is laced with raspberry swirl and served with homemade berries compote and fresh raspberries. The sweetness and sourness are very well-balanced and it's indeed a perfect pairing.

TCC has always been one of the popular places in which people choose to visit for drinks with friends given the nice environment and the huge variety of drinks. Ordered the Oero shake from TCC. Despite it being a milk shake, it is not too sweet (unlike milk shake from most places). I also like it because I can taste the oero bits in the milk shake. However, I find that it is relatively expensive. To have a drink at TCC, one has to spend at least $10 as the drinks genrally cost $8++.

I ordered the Milky Choc Mousse with Raspberry Coulis. The outer coating of 'brown sand' was not perfect, with many
uncoated gaps around (I photoshopped it to make it looked better). Anyway, it looked atas, with dried up chocolate
staining on the side of the plate itself. Adding on with a twirl of thin chocolate and berries at the side. As for the cake,
pratically chocolate mousse entirely, was creamy, light and it was a decent dessert. However, I could not detect any hint
of red tea which was stated in the menu. (Too mild I supposed)
Wcy decided to indulge a little into something sinful too, and ordered the Cappuccino Cheesecake Dream. I thought that
the chocolate sauce at the base was quite messy and it spoilt the overall appearance. The chocolate ice cream with its
cocoa streusel went quite well with some cream (not all the cream!) and the cappuccino cheesecake.
As for Wll, she decided to try the Perfect Pairing which I had tried before. However, this version was slightly different
from what I had experienced back then. The cheese was served defrosted and felt like soft cream cheese instead of my
frozen solid one which I had trouble eating.

unfresh. The sauce was quite diluted as it was almost as if there were no sauce. As for the scallops, the outer was
slightly crisp, with grainy texture. It was not creamy as I have expected it to be.
Wcy had the Crispy Oyster & Shimeji Spaghetti. I did not exactly try the oyster as I totally dislike it (I did try the crispy
batter). I think it was the batter that made the oysters looked plump.
Wll tried the Mentaiko Spaghetti with Salmon Tataki, which I have tried before. The egg with its bright orange centred
looked as tempting as ever. As a fan of salmon, I could not take my eyes off the smooth pinky flesh with spices lined
along the top of the slices. Anyway, the sauce had more of the seafood taste as compared to the previous pasta above.
Another pasta dish which Lks had ordered, recommended by Wll. It was Seafood Aglio Olio, dry but flaring hot (I think
to me only?). Scallops and prawns was all it had.
As for me, I had Beef Steak on Crispy Puff Pastry. The beef was almost well done when I requested medium rare. Luckily
it was not stiff but still tender or I would surely complain about it. I felt that the beef and puff pastry made a really
strange combination and I ate them separately. (Why the sauce made my beef looked so reflective??) The chunks of
potatoes tasted not to bad and I ate the salad without the sauce.

Today we had the Salmon Mentaiko pasta which had an egg and fresh salmon slices on top. It was fantastic! Best pasta so far! Nice flavours and spices! Very recommended! At $19, it was alright, but slightly overpriced.

The Jalepeno Salmon was alright. It had lotus root which was chilli hot as it was cooked in chilli. The Jalepeno sauce looked like vomit - it's green... The salmon was very tough and dry, as if it's been microwaved and sitting somewhere for a long time. Not tender or fresh at all. Skip this unless you dn't mind tough salmon. Plus the potato was skimpy! At $22.50, this is overpriced.

The service is alright but some of the staff seem to be unable to converse in English... but they are always very polite and courteous. Food was served under 15 minutes. Might have been sitting around waiting to be microwaved...

Water is always provided and free!

Recommended for lunch!
