The previous time, I had tried the aglio olio so I decided to try a different type of dish. The dish is really cheesy, as seen from the generous amount of mozzarella cheese on top of the lasagne. The overall dish is not too overly salty or jialat from all the cheese and sauces which is great. Some lasagne are just too flavourful until I had difficulty in finishing it but this is just right. The portion is just alright for me but I think it may be slightly less for people with a larger appetite. Overall, I enjoyed my meal though the price is slightly expensive since it is just the dish itself and there is no coffee/tea or dessert.

Located at level 2, this TCC boutique has tall ceiling and surrounded by full height glass windows with unobstructed view of the scenic marina area. Natural sunlight flooded the dining area providing patrons an Al fresco dining kinda feel but in aircon comfort.

The restaurant serves a diverse international clientele thus they have a different menu to cater to multinational palates. On top of that, they have a kids menu that is not available at other TCC outlets.

All of us ordered the Monthly Special drink, Berri Jubilee $8++, a pretty in pink ice-blended berries drink dressed with vanilla whip cream and topped with lovely flowers and pearls. Photo taking frenzy ensues...

This drink is not only good to look at but tasted great too...refreshingly sweet and fruity with bits of strawberry seeds inside. Very nice!
Roasted Pork Belly Salad $16++, thinly sliced pork belly, served with mesclun salad tossed in grape vinaigrette and accompanied with tomato confit and apple purée.

The sweet and tangy sauce complimented the savory pork slices really well, the dish was wiped out within mins...undoubtedly delicious.
My friend's Crab & Corn Chowder $12++, served with crab claw meat, sautéed corn kernels and garlic toast. The soup does not have strong flavor but has generous serving of crab meat, overall passable.

Two thick chunks of pork belly roasted to perfection with crispy skin and tender juicy meat. The brown jus that comes with the roast pork was extremely yummy too...slurp!
Grilled Grain-fed Beef Tenderloin with Red Wine Jus $36++, served with dauphinoise potato, sautéed baby carrots, asparagus spears and capsicum.

Friend requested for medium rare, the beef was done medium when served but meat was still tender so she was not disappointed at all.
Seafood Aglio Olio $26++, served with with pan-seared giant scallops, blue-shell mussels and prawns. We were quite surprised that the scallops were that huge! Seafood were very fresh and succulent and the pasta was well executed too.

Stuffed Cheesy Chicken in Parma Ham Wrap $27++, oven-roasted parma ham-wrapped chicken breast, stuffed with mozzarella cheese and fresh sage, served with potato dauphinoise and chicken jus. No complains for this dish accept that it was very filling.

We loved dining at TCC By The Bay, food was really good and different from the other outlets. And coupled with the magnificent waterfront view and friendly service staffs, we really hoped to come back again to try more nice dishes.

Not-so-good:
- Located away from the nearest mrt. More convenient to drive.
- Prices are abit steep.

Overall:
Because of the high prices, I may not return in the future.

One quiet weekend afternoon I decided to bring my family out to lunch at TCC marina. The place is not as crowded as Prive Dowstairs which sells brunch. The restaurant have nice seats which faces the sea with private boats parked around there. We ordered beef stew, baked cod fish and kurobuta pork. The beef stew is very juicy and the meat is very tender, hence just right for my dad which have not much real teeth And have craving for beef.  The baked cod fish is very fresh and the skin is crispy.

Pretty ordinary dish but  The portion is quite big too, as some restaurants cod portion is rather small. The kurobuta pork is grill to perfection. Tender and not dry. All the dishes comes with asparagus. I spent $$80++just that at times we need to fight for attention with the foreigners "ang mo" for the service, as preferrence seemed to given to serving foreigners.

However, as this was probably the only more 'affordable' restaurant at Keppel Bay.. it was very crowded and too shorthanded.. We waited for about 10 to 15 minutes each time we needed to get someone to order, to ask for water refill or to get the bill.. and because it was so crowded it almost made the  supposedly tranquail environment stiffling.

Was there for supper while waiting for someone. Tried out its Delxue Snack Platter, which consist of 2 dips, Calamaris, Onion Rings and Mozza Sticks. Nothing really special, the sauces are bland and Mozza sticks aren't really nice. The only thing that I like is its Calamaris. Other than that, not really nice. Also tried out some of the drinks on the menu, also aren't really fanciful.

Tcc has different types of cakes available to be purchased whole. We got a chocolate raspberry cake which had dark chocolate mousse atop sponge cake and some raspberries. The mousse was pretty intense in terms of Tate being rich and dark. The sponge however was really dry and quite tasteless tasting old and dried out. Not exactly a stellar cake and quite a disappointment.

TCC (The Connoisseur Concerto) has a branch here as well. I also get to know TCC GSS promotion special going on til 22nd July 2012. So why not? It was full house when we reached there around 8 plus and we waited for approximately 15 minutes outside before we can get a seat inside the cafe. One of the service staff was extremely friendly and professional. He served us ice water while we are waiting and chat with us which at the same time recommend the main course to us.

Took a picture of the menu as the staff explained that the branch here has different design of menu and choices as well. Totally match with the keppel by the bay concept

Since the promotion is one for one main course, we ordered 4 sets to share with 3 persons. Sound like a glutton here. So they will charge whichever higher price for 2 main courses out of 4 main courses. Awesome isn't it? You get to try different type of it and come back for more next time.

Grilled Kurobuta Pork Loin with Rosemary Wine Jus S$27.80
Combination of kurobuta pork loin, roasted fingerling potato, carrot stick, US asparagus served with rosemary wine jus and apple puree. Fantastic i would say but i would prefer the meat texture is be not to hard to cut/ slice it. I had difficulties to cut it into slices. Although it seems to be hard to cut, but it's not hard to chew. The sauce prepared soften the meat texture of the pork loin and you can enjoy chewing it.

Homely-Style Beef Stew S$20.80
It's the combination of braised beef stew, asparagus and baked new potatoes. The beef was nicely done. The fats or we called it collagen and the meat texture was soft and tender. It blend into the sauce prepared. It was just nice to share among friends as i think it's too much of meat for me. But overall was awesome. I can find the satisfaction for the beef stew.

Jalapeno Salmon S$22.50
Pan-smeared salmon, spicy lotus root, broccolini, baked new potatoes, capscium salsa and jalapeno cream. Not a fan of cooked salmon though but this dish turned out to be acceptable one for me. I would prefer salmon sashimi then. The salmon was medium well done as per requested and the skin is cripsy. The salmon colour is beautiful and so is the taste. I love the jalapeno cream which goes perfectly well with the salmon.

Chicken & Turkey Bacon Lasagne S$16.50
Smoked turkey bacon slices, mozzarella cheese, tomato mushroom sauce and parmesan cheese ring bouquet. The combination turned out to be delicious. It was served hot and you can smell the mixture of cheese and tomato sauce. The ingredients are rich and you can taste the chicken and smoked turkey bacon slices for almost each mouth.

Finally have a nice dinner to end the tiring week. Working has been very taxing with the deadlines and responsibilities. So i told myself to reward myself with good foods.

TCC is also well known with their drinks and we ordered some to try. Forget the name of the drinks but it was recommended by the staff and it turned out to suit my tastebud though.

Ended the friday night enjoying the view from the restaurant and chit chatting all the way. Totally feel relaxed as if celebrating the countdown of weekend.

How to get there: Telok Blangah MRT (CC28) and exit A with a walking distance approximately 12-15 minutes.Alternatively, you can take Bus 10, 30, 57, 61, 93, 97, 97E, 100, 131, 143, 145, 166, 188, 408 and walking
distance of 10 minutes. I would prefer to have own transportation if were to dine here as it is really inconvenience.

Spending: Approximately $25-$35 per pax

Its a sunny afternoon that day at keppel bay. My friends and I decided to go to tcc and take a break after playing games under the scorching sun. I ordered hot chocolate which is rather costly for me. It cost around 6 bucks for a cup. But it is worth it i guess, accompanied with the beautiful sea view and yachts from far. The hot chocolate is creamy and sweet. drinking hot chocolate in such a place calms my heart lifts up my spirit!

I ordered a 2-course set meal for $22.80++ and it included:

1) French onion soup - you know it's not from the can as it was choke full of onion slices and very rich in taste. My colleague who also had this found it too bitter for her.
I liked mine tho.

2) Seafood Aglio Olio - reviews have shown that this is a good dish and they're right! The spaghetti is served al dente and well tossed with garlic and olive oil. They also serve it with 2 succulent scallops and 2 tiger prawns, well seared on the sides to achieve the fresh taste of seafood and maintain its juiciness. Nice!

3) Ceylon Tea - came with the set and it's normal tea. Good enough.

They served (free) ice water as well and the service staff are very attentive. Kudos to the team! A most pleasurable lunch indeed.

its a healthy alternative to those health conscious over the many choices for desserts & mains.
