Teochew fishball noodles. $3. In the morning, there's no queue but once lunch time is here, a long queue will quickly start forming. The fishball noodles here taste above average. The taste of fish could be felt in the fishballs although not very strong. The fishballs were not fishy too. If you are a fan of fishball noodles, you should try this out. Their fishcake is also quite unique and big. continue reading

Price: $4.00 for a bowl of teochew fishball noodlesThere were 4 large fishballs in the bowl of soup. The fishballs were yummy and a bite into it and I could taste the real fish's taste instead of the artificial too-springy texture and bland fishball taste of typical fishballs found everywhere. I did not like the fishcakes and preferred the usual type of fishcakes used even though this was different from the rest. Soup was also quite bland but this goes to show that not much m.s.g was put into it (if there's any). There's always a queue at this stall so be prepared to queue! continue reading

Came to take away lunch. I was not feeling too well so took away the mee tak mak soup from this stall. There was a queue but service is quite fast. It is $3.00 and 0.20 cents for take away. The soup was bland but healthy. It got fishballs, fishcake and vegetable. The mee tak mak was enough for lunch. Fishballs and fishcake tasted quite fresh and no fishy taste. It was ok overall. continue reading

Fancy buying Laksa at a FishBall Noodle stall but this was what I did!It did not taste like conventional Laksa, having a more curry flavour and texture. It was also unusual in that it had fishballs, BIG ones at that. They were also very generous with the tau pokI think I'll try their Fishball noodles next time and order Laksa from a Laksa stall. continue reading

This stall often has a queue for its fishball noodles. The fishballs they serve are big and round, and are probably handmade. Although it tastes nice and all, I do not quite like the texture. I like my fishballs bouncy and chewy, but this stall's are too tough for my liking. The noodles are just normal too. Maybe its chili is nice, but since I do not take chili, I would not know. I expected the sauce to be more than ketchup, but all I could taste is ketchup. A huge disappointment. continue reading
