Went old airport road hawker centre for lunch as there's lots and lots of variety to choose from. This place gets pretty crowded at lunch hours so I came around 2pm when most of them have left.Fishball noodle is my all time favourite food; big round springy fishball and tasty fishcake with ketchup coasted bee tai mak.Soup was hot and light tasting. Uncle was friendly and prompt delivery upon payment.

we come here very often, sometimes 3 times a week.my husband loves the laksa here but i am getting rather sick of it as this week we are eating here almost everyday now. it's very spicy compared to other places. and they use mainly teochew fish balls and fish cakes made from their teochew fish balls and fish cakes stall next door. the service is friendly and efficient. the takeaway is in a paper bowl, not plastic, which is great as we don't like plastic. the noodles are springy and fresh. you ca

the laksa here is super hot. the coconut gravy is very fresh, which is good. nothing worse than rancid coconut gravy. however, it really is just a bit too spicy. it's a simple gravy without complex flavours like the katong laksa. but the ingredients are unique as in, it's mostly teochew fish cakes and fish balls. it's next to their teochew fish ball stall so they have fish cakes and fish balls in their laksa. the noodles are good and springy and fresh. all their ingredients are very fresh.

This laksa is not sickeningly rich like at some places. It's not overly oily. The chilli is well balanced with the coconut cream. The noodles are al dente and fresh and separate. There's large fish balls and fresh fish cake slices in the laksa with some tau pok. It's very very good! Cost $3.50. The stall is very clean and they are very efficient. Highly recommended! Very addictive laksa gravy! They have other fish dishes which include otah, fish balls, fish cakes, dry, wet, noodles, rice, etc...

Not many places have a good bowl of white kway teow. White kway teow dishes are your average kway teows served without chilli paste and ketchup, but with vinegar. You can have a choice of either white vinegar or black vinegar. The black vinegar kway teow i got was nothing special. I think franchising at times spoils the expectation. Though the ingredients were considerable, the noodles were way too soft.

Even without chili and ketchup, this noodle is still nice. Probably it is because the sauce of the noodle is flavorful and salty enough. The noodles come with 2 fishballs (I guess they are handmade), slices of fishcake and the fishcake kind of otah. It is probably one of the better fishball noodles around. I ordered take-out, and the noodle was slightly soggy when I got home.
