Thai Cuisine - Kopitiam (Closed)

After my failed attempt of the not so nice pineapple rice, i decided not to write off this stall and try their phad thai. the phad thai is pretty wet. normally i would not like it but the gravy did taste pretty good. this time round the prawns was fresher, maybe it just arrived. the meat was sweet and succulent. they were very generous with their bean sprouts, the bean sprout was very juicy and crunchy. give a crunch to the phad thai. i guess the phad thai is a must order from this stall and not

I decided to give the pineapple rice a try when i happened to dine at Novena's Velocity Food Court. I must say I was utterly disappointed with their Pineapple Rice. Firstly, the rice is so hard, i suspect they did not cook it long enough. Then the frozen vegetables are very hard and raw. When I bit into the frozen peas, it was hard and bitter. Then there were prawns fried together with the fried rice, the prawns were not fresh at all, when i chewed it, it was mushy. so disappointing!

I had lunch at Kopitiam at Velocity. After their renovations, the place looks very nice and modern. I decided to order the Thai Food. I got myself the Phad Thai. It was not bad actually. The phad thai was not too dry, the noodles were very chewy and does not stick to the teeth. There were some prawns in the phad thai, the prawns were pretty sweet and succulent. They added peanuts into the phad thai, the peanuts add a little crunch to the phad thai, made it taste really good.
