Dinner with my friends at Jcube and thai express had almost no queue at all so we went there for dinner! I ordered a fried shrimp paste rice with seafood (Khao Kluk Kapi Talay) and a bowl of white tom yum to share with my friends. Note that plain water is not complimentary. My food took 15mins to come and the tom yum took 30mins to come (after repeatedly asking for it). We saw other people who ordered after us have already gotten their food! Anyway, the friend shrimp paste rice was nice! It did not disappoint me at all. It has a really nice shrimp taste to the rice as the name suggests. Add some of the given sauce and sprinkle some lime juice over it! The prawns and squids were pretty normal, thank goodness the squids didn't taste rubbery. The white tom yum was really spicy, I would suggest that the red one would be better if your tolerance for spicy food is lower. I prefer the red one as well because it has a richer tom yum flavour than the white one. The soup contains of mushrooms, sliced fish etc. Read More

I went to Thai Express with my girlfriend for dinner. We ordered mainly dishes to share. I saw they were kind of promoting this dish Gai Op Pattaya so we decided to order it. Gai Op Pattaya is actually Thai-style roasted chicken thigh. The chicken meat is so tender and juicy. the skin is not too oily and did not have a lot of fats. When the chicken is eaten with rice, it tasted really good. I recommend this dish.Read More

It has been a while since i went to Thai Express to eat. I wanted to renew my expired member card but they no longer have any membership program as informed by the guy who took our order. i was also surprised they no longer served iced water but ask people to buy their $1.90 per bottle mineral water. So many changes...I ordered one phat thai and one seafood otah. the seafood otah was really good, not spicy as all. there were large pieces of seafood in it. the phat thai was fry till very delicious. as a whole i was pretty satisfied with the food. the otah especially was really good, like the ones i eat in Thailand.Read More

I am always a fan of Thai Tom Yum Soup, so when I visit Thai Express, I will always ordered this to go with a plate of plain rice or their pineapple fried rice. The tom yum soup from thai express is not as addictive as the one I had from some other place. It is still decent, but to me it is lacking of the "punch" to make me want more bowls of it. Ingredients used is fresh, but portion wise is small. With a price it is selling, I was hoping the ingredients could be a little more. Read More

tomyam soupthe tomyum soup is something i always craving for, esp the spicy and sour one. Thai express served quite good tomyum soup..this set come with the above tomyum soup.. the fried balls are actually potato smashed and rolled, deep fried to golden colours. very nice snack to eat with the thai sauce but definitely not for dish with rice..curry chicken pratathe curry is full with the 8 star spices flavour which i dont quite like.. anyway the prata is not bad, crispy on the crust when eaten warm..green curry chicken fried rice setthe only thing nice is the fried rice, the salad and clear seafood soup taste weird to me.. not to mention the dessert which i din even touch it..Read More
