We had a bad experience at T3, Thai Express. The service there is ultimately SLOW! However, the staff there was friendly and keep on helping us to check for our order. We waited up to 40 minutes for the first dish. Tried their Pineapple chestnut rice? Not sure about the name, can't really remember! But it's so nice till we clear the plate within 10 minutes! :xTheir Green Curry Rice was real spicy, with potatoes and pork! Great Taste! Soft shell crab glass noodle! It's the best, however, it's very oily. Perhaps is because of the soft shell crab. But it's the only dish I love to eat at Thai Express continue reading

Pineapple fried rice has always been a delicacy, especially with Thai cuisines. My portion of fried rice was a pretty good serving; just the right amount I must say. The rice was fragrant and smelt great. The dish was infused with mixed vegetables and chunks of pineapple which left a sweet impression. Unlike most eateries, the rice here was not sticky, instead the grains were separated. At the side of the plate, another serving of pineapple chunks and cashew nuts were served. A few slices of tomatoes and cucumbers were also added on to the plate which made it colorful. Overall, it was a good combination. I enjoyed the dish continue reading

We had a late dinner at Thai Express which was still taking customer at 9pm. Originally we wanted to go to Gurney Drive but they stopped taking customer even though the queue had about 3 groups.Sis and I ordered th Fried Mee Sau and the Sa-Nook set to share between the 2 of us. We ordered Thai Fish cakes and Otak for 4 persons to share. My parent each order a different main course. The Fried Mee Sua is the dry version with squids, prawns and veg. The noodle is soft but not soggy. It lack the "Wok Hei" taste. The Sa-Nook set consist of appertizer, soup, main course and dessert. Mychoice was the Pomelo Salad, Tung Hoon Chicken Soup, Chicken Green Curry Fried Rice, & Black Glutinous Rice. The salad comes in bite size pomelo that is not sweet nor sour. The green colour fried rice is fried with slices of chicken and egg. It is actually quite tasty. I informed the waiter that they served the wrong dessert when I got watermelon. They brought Steam Taipoca with coconut milk as they run out of Black Gultinous Rice. The Thai Fish cakes comes in 4 thick pieces. It is bouncy but not spicy compared to the Otak. They do this 2 Thai side dishes well here. continue reading

We were searching for a place for dinner with Miss Nippon before sending her off but everywhere was fully occupied and only Thai Express had seats available. We each ordered a main and I had the green curry laksa which was not bad except that the coconut was a bit too much that it made the gravy slightly too sweet and not spicy at all. Some of our meals took a little longer to serve and we ordered fried chicken wings which took around 25 mins to arrive. The wings were stuffed with fish meat and the taste were not too bad. I had eaten at other branches and they were pretty fast with the service and over here the staff were friendly and just that the service were slow and because they were short handed and had caused the delay of the serving of food. continue reading
