Thanks to my cousin who has brought me to this ThaiExpress to have a small feast for our dinner. He has treated me some of their signature dishes. Among them, my favourite is their spicy queen mushroom soup, crayfish tomyum soup, otak and stir fried rice noodles. Queen mushroom soup uses my pieces of fresh hugh mushroom that are very chewy and delicious. Soupbase is sweet and spicy, very appetizing. Crayfish soup uses hugh sweet meaty crayfish which is delicious. Otak paste is very smooth and thick in texture, which is abit spicy. Restaurant is spacious and comfortable, service is alright only. Paid less that $50 for this meal which is quite reasonable. continue reading

Thai Express serve authentic thai food at reasonable price. Ordered for their seafood glass noodles, tomyam soup, thai chilli minced pork meat and two plates of rice to share. It is about $40+ being shared by three people. The noodles is cooked at the right temperature as it is not too soggy or hard in texture. It goes well with the ingredients such as seafood, peanuts, chilli and spices. Tomyam soup is also good too! continue reading

Few pieces of mushroom, soup is not spicy, did not have any meats Was having lunch with my friends at thaiexpress and since i am a fungi lover, i have ordered the tom yum mushroom soup that came with rice - the meal has no meat in it.The services experiences was not bad as staff served us well. For the food, the tom yum soup is not spicy which i feel that tom yum soup should have a certain level of spiciness that give the kicks of tom yum feeling. But then again, perhaps to cater to all, the taste as compared to authentic tom yum soup just made me feel rather disappointed. Furthermore, there was only a few pieces of mushroom in the soup. Hence, i would say i rather tried other foods then back to Thai express the next time when i go citylink mall. continue reading

I have eaten here COUNTLESS times, and I still love the tom yum soup is SUPERB, bursting with spiciness and sourness, just don't get it why is white in color... haha!! The soup is always served piping hot, THUMBS UP!! We ordered our food swiftly since it wasn't as busy, our food arrived shortly after...ordered the Spicy Glass Noodles and Spicy Fried Noodles... Both of the dish no much different, one of them are in fried type and other one is in soup...Both are super spicy!! Seafood was relatively fresh & not too stingy...nothing special... continue reading
