The Café Cartel (Closed)

After a long shopping, im getting hungry already.Almost all the shop is closing soon.I saw cafe cartel offer.After 9.00 pm.everything is 50 % off. so i decided to go in.I ordered a mushroom cream base pasta.The pasta taste not bad, quite normal as others.The cream is nice. Not very creamy.I hate those very creamy one,so i prefer this. The mushrrom given is quite few.If there is lots, it will be better.

Super yummy and big portion of pork ribs with delicious BBQ sauce and coleslaw and fries! One of my favorite places to enjoy ribs at value for money!Always worth it to topup for the complete meal with drink, soup and dessert. I give Cafe Cartel full marks for value for money.Something weird is that there is no free flow bread at IMM. Not sure is it just for IMM or all Cafe Cartel also changed. Nevertheless, the ribs makes me satisfied and full enough.

i went to café cartel for dinner. my son told me to take up the set meal as it was more worth it. The set meal comprised of bread, soup, drink and main. That time the bread is like help yourself and you can cut how much you want but now they do not have a bread counter. The bread is prepared and served to you. I find their soup especially nice, it is very tasty. I like how creamy it is. The soup goes so well with the bread as well.

The different types of western dishes available on their menus look really nice and presentable. I always love to order their chef salad whenever I feel like going for a diet. The portion is quite alright for an adult and love those generous amount of crunchy lettuces used in this dish. The sliced cheese, crispy chicken meat, sliced tomatoes are all very fresh and delicious too.

One Sunday morning ago, my bf and I decided to go get ourselves some good ol' western breakfast. We haven't been to cafe cartel in a while, so decided to go for their breakfastThe restaurant was about 50% occupied when we got there. Only the muffin was passable. the smoothie menu seems to be attractive. it is just too sweet for me.I don't understand how places can survive selling food like that. Shudder.

i went to café cartel for dinner with some friends. I was complied to order their set meal cos it was so worth. The set meal included a soup, some bread and a drink all for only an additional $3.90. we went there slightly before the dinner crowd came so the food was served pretty fast. I must say their soup was really good, it was very creamy and thick. It was not too salty as well. add some pepper into it and it taste absolutely delicious. Now you cannot enjoying sawing your own bread and spreading a lot of butter on it. I ordered their set meal which includes the main course, a drink, a soup and their bread. My child and I was looking for a place for lunch and this 1-for-1 pasta promotion caught my eyes. It's a special for DBS/POSB credit or debit cards. A fine dining at 'The Cafe Cartel' with my friends and we have ordered some dishes to share together. This was the first time that I went in to dine and it was a really great experience with my friends . Overall, we've waited about 15-20 minutes before the food is served to our table. I love the food at café cartel. It is so yummy. I went there with my sister, we both ordered their set meals. I loved the soup is was so tasty. It is not the watery kind. It is rich and thick. I love the bread crumbs in the soup. It gives it an extra crunch! The bread rice was so delicious. very cheesy on top. they are very generous with their ingredients! Cheesy rice, smooth soup, absolute bliss!

the cakes at cafe cartel are really to die for, i know it is very sinful and fattening but they are simply awesome. my hubby and i would drive out to the cafe cartel in the evening to buy some of the cakes for breakfast the next day. their chocolate cakes are so sweet and sinful. but it is very rich and chocolaty. the cake is so moist that even after you put it in the fridge for one night, it remains moist the next day. the chocolate is not completely sweet, it has some bitterness in it as well.

St. Louis Pork Ribs ($11.80)Nevertheless, cafe cartel has became of of the hangout place for everyone. They served very reasonable price many varieties of western food from starter to dessert. The pork ribs has became one of the must order signature dish in cafe cartel. this time i headed to the cafe cartel for some delicious dessert cum supper. their cakes are to die for, my favourite was their new york cheesecake. it is rich yet not too heavy. it is indeed cheesy but very smooth, in your mouth, it simply melts away.

Cafe Cartel's 1 for 1 pasta is here again! Awesomeness Such a great deal made cafe cartel our choice for lunch. Love their pasta and the thick creamy/tomato based sauce. Had a great lunch that day Will definitely be back for more! How about you?
