This is a shots bar with a wide variety of flavours. Do go during their happy hour which is around 6pm to 9pm - beef sliders are at $6 for 3 - patty was alright and bun was toasted. There are also selected shots at $6 each. My favourite was After Eight - a strong minty taste and the concoction was sweet and good. We also tried their truffle fries - portion was very little although presentation was good with the fries served in shots glasses, costs $13. continue reading

The Chupitos Bar is the go-to place for a variety of shots that are not only fun, but also outstandingly creative. They offer pair shots which go for $12, group shots/drinks (i.e. Russian Roulette, Gas Chamber) that go for around $60-80, indivudal shots (either $12-$15) as well as drop shots (i.e. Jagerbombs) that go for around $15-$18.I say that this is a go-to place not just because of their tongue-in-cheek creations, such as the dare shots which involve activities that are strictly for the adventurous and sporting, but also because of the lively atmosphere. The staff are always pleasant and friendly, and the whole atmosphere of the open-air bar concept (they have an indoor and outdoor seating) where friends can come and hang out is just eclectic. We ordered four rounds of the pair shots, Illusion, Crouching Tiger, Paddle Pop as well as Paradise. Each shot comes with an interesting colour based on the liquer used. Illusion and Paradise were green, Crouching Tiger was blue, and Paddle Pop is a milky pink/blue. Each shot had a nice balance of fruitiness from the fruit juice and liquer (usually lychee or midori which is a musk-melon liquer), as well as the spirit used. The shots were tasty and interesting and extremely fun.The Paddle Pop shot tasted exactly like a melted down Paddle Pop ice cream, but with a shot of alcohol in it. It was not only interesting, but also potent -definitely something you'd want to drink. The dare shots are also definitely a must-try with a group of friends. It's an extremely novel concept! that I've not seen elsewhere in Singapore. For reasonable prices, this tongue-in-cheek shots bar has definitely made it to the top of my list for the best place to go to to have fun with friends! continue reading

Let me be frank - I went to Chupitos because I heard about their fine selection of tequila shots and I wanted to find the best one of them all. My quest was fulfilled. With Chupitos Bar centrally located right smack in the middle of Clarke Quay, it's no wonder that this place is as popular as it gets. You simply can't go wrong with tequila shots and top club hits playing in the background on a Friday or a Saturday night. My friends and I sampled a range of shots, all priced slightly steeply but well worth an empty wallet. We tried Milo Godzilla, even though it had not a single drop of tequila. It did not disappoint with its rich choclate-y flavor and a splash of Bailey's and vodka. Our unanimous favourite, however, was the Dead Baby shot, filled to the brim with yummy tequila and -what-not and a gummy-bear flavoured, dead baby-shaped piece of candy at the bottom of our shot glass.Chupitos is a great place to pregame, though don't expect its interior dance floor to get filled up. Just go there for the plenitude of shots. continue reading

As we all know, Chupitos is the first shots bar in singapore! I have been heading here ever since it opened for my monthly dose of shots. The ambiance is great for chilling out with a group of friends. However, it can get pretty crowded over the weekends! We tried the vulcanoe shot, the kiss of death, the banana split, the blow job as well as beers! The first two came off pretty strong. The banana split was pretty nice and the blow job had whipped cream on the sides of the shot glass so things would get messy! hahaOverall, we enjoyed the shots & we enjoyed ourselves. Will be back again for sure! continue reading
