Introduction
The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf has grown into one of the largest privately-owned, family-run coffee and tea companies in the world. Along the way, The Bean, as it is affectionately known, has become the model for a successful coffee and tea company. The coffee is roasted fresh daily in small batches in a manual European roast style, then packed using state-of-the-art equipment for shipment in the roasting facility and delivered fresh daily to the stores. continue reading

One of my favourite past-times is to hang out and chill at cafes. So one day after seeing my sister off at the airport, my mum and I decided to have some tea, coffee and a slice of cake while we lounge around at Changi Airport.I had the hazelnut ice blended drink and paired it with the raspberry cheesecake. I love having whipped cream as it adds a bit of fun as you drink your ice blended coffee. The raspberry cheesecake didn't have a very strong cheesecake flavour so it's perfect for those who have a low tolerance level for cheescakes.Nonetheless i hope Coffee Bean had expand their cakes menu and perhaps change them occasionally. continue reading

Was here to send a friend off so grab a bite while waiting. We bought the mocha ice blended $5.90, ice blended green tea $6.70 and chocolate of a thousand leaves cake $6.10. This outlet you can see the crate design counter that the new coffee bean outlets are adopting, maybe to give an impression of freshly delivered beans from south american countries You will still see many tables occupied by students mugging away. The chocolate cake was a sinner , with the multi layered texture, its sweetness ot the max and fortunately its top layer is still not so sweet like mudpie kind. continue reading

I absolutely adore the all-day-breakfast menu at coffee bean for I can get delicious and filling food at a reasonable price. This time round they introduced a new food item on their all-day-breakfast menu, Croque Madame.Croque Madame is actually bread with cheese melted on it and sandwiched with ham before serving with an egg. The egg may be poached or fried. This was my first try of croque madame($11.90 with coffee/tea) and I'm pleased with it. The lightly toasted bread was soft and fluffy and the cheese was mellow and rich. The ham wasn't too salty and the egg was cooked perfectly. Combing all the elements on the plate and putting it in my mouth was just lip-smacking! YUMMY I order the fruit cake($4.20) since it was a Christmas season cake and I'm disappointed with it. It was dry and I felt some flavours were missing in the fruit cake. I reckoned that the all-day-breakfast menu was yummy but I wouldn't say about the cakes and coffee for they had disappointed me time and again. continue reading

The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf just launched the Cookies & Cream series and being a total sucker for this flavour, I would definitely try it. I actually chose the one with the coffee base over the milk base and it was rather one bad move. The coffee base was too strong and it covered the sweet taste of cookies and cream. In the end, it was just like another coffee drink. I would definitely try the milk base if I have the chance. continue reading

I love both ice and hot chocolate, depending on my mood and the weather of course. At Coffee Bean, I had a smallest size of ice chocolate blended drink. I'll usually ask for half the portion of syrup pump, but apparently they call it powder.. since I don't like the sugar level too high sometimes. This cocoa drink is deep in its chocolate flavor and does not taste artificial at all! Perhaps this is why Coffee Bean is so popular among everyone: teens, business men, family, etc. continue reading
