Hello foodies ! Some familiar brand, yet not familiar food in the store. In the MBS outlet, there are some main dishes, which include squid ink pasta ! Usually in western restaurant, steak is the most common dish to order. For Coffee bean, their steaks are about $20? Which is about the price of Hot Tomato. Their steaks are quite alright, just a little to old as their meat is not really juicy, and usually I would recommend "well done" instead of "medium rare" as it will taste better, somehow.

Lastly, what my family ordered, and the lobster linguine might be the most worth it one ! Cause its real good, and no its not truffles fries but normal fries. hahahs !
Other Info. : The fountain in front of Coffee Bean will be switched on at 8pm till 815 ! Also, due to the crowd, there are a lot of people ! So be patient, you need to wait to eat.

Anyway, the food of the day was Seafood Fettucine (SGD$25.00) - a delicious (surprisingly) pasta whipped in tomato sauce laced with some chilli padi bits. I simply love sweet tangy mix. The portions of seafood was generous as well - scores of prawn, scallops and mussels. The texture of the fettucine was just right too - not too soggy and not too hard, retaining a nice bounce to it.

For desserts and drinks, we had Sunrise (orange juice basically) and my Red Velvet Hot Chocolate (I very much prefer the original Double Hot Chocolate with marshmallows from them).

As for cakes, we chose the Green Tea Cheesecake and Red Velvet Cake. The former was rich like a cream dream, layered with fluffy chiffon layer and resplendent of the sweet aroma of green tea. The latter was a little dry, but the distinct cream cheese flavor was nicely present.

Recently, they have opened the premier all-day casual dining bistro, Tea Leaf Beanstro outlets, beginning with the flagship branch at Marina Bay Sands overlooking the magnificent fountain and canal. The service is rather slow, but the diners are usually in a lazy, relaxed mode so there probably shouldn’t be much complaints.

For brunch, I had the Corned Beef with Egg, Tomato and Salad on Wholemeal Toast. This was a rather homely, wholesome breakfast set that tasted surprisingly good – tender corned beef cubes juicily-flavored. When consumed together with the tomato, lettuce and fried egg, it was literally a gastronomical connoiseur of goodness.

Katherine* had the Tiger Prawn Risotto – which I got to sample as well. The rice dish came with huge Tiger prawns that were succulent, crunchy and immersed with the delicious tomato flavor the rice dish was cooked in. The rice was just the right texture – chew without being too hard or soggy, and the taste left a sweet-sour sensation in the mouth that leaves one craving for more.

The two main courses were indeed not bad for bistro standards; we enjoyed our food.

Overall, the beef stea tasted good, though I would prefer they included more slices of bread.

I ordered a cup of latte. The latte here is nice, strong coffee taste and well balanced of milk and coffee. The milk did not cover the taste of the coffee but enhance the taste.

I was at MBS with my friend a few days back and we went looking for a place to sit down and catch up with one another. We came to this cafe, Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf and ordered french toast with maple syrup as our high tea. The presentation of the food makes the dish look really good. And i gotta say the french toast is delicious! i really like the texture. usually i will not have high expectations on food at such cafe as they are usually very average. and this french toast has proven me wrong.

I was so tired from walking all day that I ordered lasagna. When my order arrived, I didn't expect it to be such a big serving. The meaty sauce was surrounding the big slice of lasagna. It was really good for it was very cheesy. And there were generous chunks of ground beef in the sauce and in the layers of the lasagna. But it was to big for me that I only finished like half of it. I will order it some other time, when I can find someone to share this dish.

Next up was my meal! The eggs were too watery for me, and I had to add more salt and pepper to it, just so it would have some taste. It also soaked my bacon and sausage which was not good! My bacon wasn't crispy anymore when I ate it. The mushrooms were very meaty and the tomatoes were fresh, so I was happy with it...

Overall, it was an average dining experience. Loved the coffee but I wasn't a fan of their breakfast platter.

The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf @ Marina Bay Sand has the most beautiful and romantic atmosphere I ever encounter; with the seat surround the fountain giving you a feel at the nature. The place is much more cozy and relax as compare to other outlet as well.
