Introduction
The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf has grown into one of the largest privately-owned, family-run coffee and tea companies in the world. Along the way, The Bean, as it is affectionately known, has become the model for a successful coffee and tea company. Quite a nice place to chill out on a sunday afternoon - this is how I would describe the Coffee Bean at Parkway. Despite being a sunday afternoon, it is not crowded and noisy. Ordered my favourite ultimate ice blended and the raspberry cheesecake. Personally, I find that the raspberry cheesecake looks better than its taste. Perhaps it is due to the raspberry, I find that it is kinda sour. It also doesn't go well with the ice blended coffee. Hence, I will not recommend one to order it. continue reading

The Red Velvet Cake is the latest cake offering at Coffee Bean. It is a dark red layer cake with a cheese frosting. The cake is not moist enough but the cheese frosting was just right and not too sweet. So far have not found a good Red Velvet Cake in Singapore.Mum had the Banana Walnut which is better and more moist. Dad picks the healthy Oats with Cranberry from the all day breakfast menu. It is a big bowl of oats soaked in hot milk and sprinkled with cranberry. He said that the cranberry goes well with the oats.We all tried their 15th Anniversary Brew Tea which is a special blend of Yunnan black tea. It taste like strong Chinese’s tea and has a smoky flavour with a nice amber colour. It cost $1.50 per cup during the 15th June promotion. continue reading

I am a whipped cream person, and I really love to have whipped cream on top of my drink. The process of making this is not difficult and I think we can also make this at home. But I am just too lazy! Moreover, I think the enviroment of the place also counts. I doubt my friends and I will hang out at home to chat and drink coffee/tea. continue reading
