The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf

This is the first time that I am trying the carrot cake from coffee bean. And it was a great disappointment. The carrot cake was dry and the taste was rather blunt. It was lumpy in the middle and cold. The ingredients inside are nuts and carrot. I was expecting more from Coffee Bean. We ordered the utlmate breakfast set, scambled eggs with salmon, pancake and egg ben. Each set comes with either coffee or tea, you can also top up to get blended coffee like latte or machiatto. i ordered caramel machiatto, which was aromatic and not too sweet. Out of the 4 sets, i like the scrambled eggs with salmon most. The scrambled eggs are well cooked and blended well with the slightly salty smoked salmon. The beef patty of the ultimate breakfast set is being cut too big and thick, though it tasted not too bad. I also find the salad which comes with each set (except for pancakes) very good. The salad comes with cranberries, and the lettuce is crunchy and fresh. Overall i think it is delicious and economical breakfast, a good breakfast choice in the area. …Read More

The Coffee bean at RWS is probably one of my favorite outlets. The service crew there are one of the friendliest and are extremely polite. The ambiance is really nice as well. It's usually quiet during weekday mornings which makes it an ideal place to catch up on some reading. One of my favorite drinks is the iced chocolate with coffee. Its the perfect combination of coffee added to chocolate which does not make it too heavy. Another must try are the cheesecakes.
