Thanks OpenRice for the free S $28 coffeebean card. Had the salmon scramble egg with bread set.. came with free refill of tea or coffee. I prefer the iced fruity tea than the coffee. The salmon and scrambled egg with bread taste good, like the salmon and the bread is soft... the scrambled egg is nicely done. As for the country breakfast, I don't really like it. As the hash browns is not crisp, chicken sausage too hard, and bread is too dry n hard too.

Not necessarily drinking coffee at Coffee Bean, I ordered Iced Tea for this time. There were quite a number of choices available, such as Oolong, Green Teas, Herbal & Fruit Infusions and Black Teas. The business was pretty good on public holiday, we could hardly find a table for two persons.It was very hot and stuffy weather, we decided to have chilled beverage. The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf should be equally specialized in coffee as well as tea, but that is not the case. I had a cup of peach iced tea, and sadly speaking, it could not be compared to even bubble tea joints. The tea was way too sweet with peach favoring, and totally not thirst-quenching. The price paid is just for the seats, which are quite limited since seats at coffee joints are always occupied by students, studying.

From the Coffee Ice Blended category, I present you the Black Forest! You're the sole reason why I always return to Coffee Bean. Don't belittle this coffee drink for it taste almost and literally like a Black Forest Cake! So how does a GOOD Black Forest Cake should taste like right?Let me tell you! wanted to have a brunch, so went to 313 coffee bean and had some cakes with drinks. took quite some time to had a seat due to weekends. there are some studying and weekends always packed. bought a slice of tiramisu cake and a cup of tea. first time ordering cake from them, it taste okay still. like the chocolate chips at the side, and their cream is thick. overall, for simple brunch it is still not bad.

I decided to choose the black forest flavour as I was curious how different it would taste from the black forest cake. This drink is refreshing and slightly sweeter than I thought. It has a strong taste of chocolate and smell of cherry and slight taste of cherry. The whip cream added was a little too sweet for me and overall I would say it tasted like blended black forest cake However if you like chocolate you would like this sweet drink that is quite filling and will be a nice afternoon snack!

One of my favorite cakes at Coffee Bean has got to be their signature Chicago Cheesecake. I love how it has a crusty top and base while the cheese just melts in your mouth with every bite. It's not too heavy and has a very nice smooth flavor. It also goes so well with coffee. The cake is even big enough to be shared by 2 smile

Went to Coffee Bean again after tired shopping at Somerset.This time, I decided to try something new instead of double chocolate. So, I went for ice blended mocha with whipped cream which many open ricer recommended and a chocolate cake (can't remember actual name).The drinks tasted yummy but not my favorite. I prefer the double chocolate more.The cake tasted delicious. The sweetness of cake was just nice and the texture was soft and moist.

After dinner with two of my friends, we decided to have some coffee and dessert at this coffee bean. The ambience was rather cosy, but its not that big actually.I have ordered my favourite coffee - ice blended mocha with whip cream! Yummy. It was delicious and flavorful. We got a slice of strawberry cake to share, cant remember the actual name of the cake, but it was delicous, not too sweet. And the texture was soft and moist. It tasted wonderful with my ice-blended mocha.

I ordered the new york cheesecake from Coffee Bean at Somerset 313. It costs around $5 for the slice of cake. The cake was cheesy and creamy. The texture was a little hard, felt as though it was placed in the fridge for a while and the cake tasted too sweet as well. The cafe was a great place to chill.

During a chill out session with my friends, I decided to try something which I had not tried before so I went for their Black Forest Ice Blended.It came with a cherry on top of the whipped cream but clumsy me dropped it though! I would say that this drink is not on my favourites list.It was definitely very different from what I usually get.This had a little weird taste in it and small bits in the drink which kept causing me to cough.Not something I would be trying again!
