Introduction
The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf has grown into one of the largest privately-owned, family-run coffee and tea companies in the world. Along the way, The Bean, as it is affectionately known, has become the model for a successful coffee and tea company. The coffee is roasted fresh daily in small batches in a manual European roast style, then packed using state-of-the-art equipment for shipment in the roasting facility and delivered fresh daily to the stores. continue reading

Quite a distance from Toa Payoh MRT, not many people around me knew that there was actually a Coffee Bean outlet located at here. Not many seats available, we picked a corner seat finally.Participating in Hungry Games organized by Openrice, I was rewarded a Coffee Bean member card upon redemption from food reviews writing.Hot Double Chocolate in Large, $7.00, was mine and Chocolate Blended, $7.20 for him. It was relaxing to have such drink after dinner. Not too sweet, the chocolate aroma was rich and thick. Talking about the service, I was gloomy. Operating hour was until 10:00pm yet we were chased by the staffs around 9:55pm. How can they do such rude way to their customers?! My mood ruined, we forced to end our date earlier. continue reading

Coffee time again while walking along Toa Payoh, we were looking for a place to sit down and chit chat. Then we remember there is coffee bean and recently they had the green tea latte. So I would like to try out.Ice Green Tea Latte Regular($7.70) - Tasted average but not the one I would like. My friend and I were looking for a cafe that is quiet and not too far from our homes to have a chat after dinner. Coffee beans at HDB hub came to mind It was quite nice as there were only a few tables occupied. We found a nice corner and ordered my friend's fav. cheesecake. The cake is moist and indeed cheesy! Pity it was served on a plastic plate..i guess it's becoz this particular cafe has limited washing and cooking area thats why they rather use plastic ware. The cake is good for sharing. I believe it will be too much for a person to finish a piece by himself. continue reading

My colleague and I were having our teabreak at this coffeebean after some work at Toa Payoh. I got myself a cup of mocha - its my all time favorite! But today i got myself a hot mocha rather than my usual ice-blended mocha. It tasted yummy also. Its freshly brewed and prepared. Its was really a nice cup of coffee to brighten my busy and stressful day.By the way, the environment here is always very busy. Have to wait quite a while for the seats usually, continue reading

Tried to have the Chicago Cheesecake accompanied by cappuccino (tall) which sum up to about S$10 +/-. The cheesecake is not bad and I can say it is quite good even though I prefer the breadtalk's one better. While the cappuccino really suits my taste and with additional of 2 sachet of sugar, it tastes nice. Recommended for those who want to chit chat and also talk about school project or business but take notes that during peak hour, studying is not allowed. continue reading
