Decided to drive to TDS for some ice cream and waffles when my dad suggested some dessert after dinner. Googled ice cream places and this came upNot a big place but pretty busy on a Sunday night. We had three orders of waffle with ice cream (vanilla, strawberry shortcake and mango flavored). Waffle was crispy on the outside and fluffy inside so definitely 2 thumbs up! We had to wait a little as they are freshly made but it was well worth itMy mum had a double scoop- mango and green tea. We all really liked how the ice cream wasn't artificially sweet. The mango ice cream had a nice sour touch to it and the green tea one had a  slight bitter undertone that was very pleasantWill definitely come back sometime soon! continue reading

for photos and more reviews, visit http://littlemomentsofmylife.wordpress.com/ this place looks sooo adorable! i was captivated by the wallpaper the moment i stepped into the store. tucked away in chip bee gardens (there are actually so many food places to explore there!), i've been wanting to try this place forever. but i couldnt bring myself to travel to sunset way or wherever the other outlet is.my friends went absolutely gaga over the kahlua flavour. all of them ordered it! if you like coffee, take their word and try it.i opted for the butterscotch pecan, and topped up for a brownie ($5.50). absolutely lovely! their ice cream is smooth, creamy and flavourful, and the brownie was SO DELICIOUS. lightly crisp on the outside, it revealed a moist soft interior that was richly chocolate-y. wonderful ) try it! continue reading

The Freshly Baked Waffle with Hazelnut Haven & Salted Mr Brown ($9.70) is a nice combination. The waffle is slightly savoury and complements well with the chocolate sauce. The Hazelnut Haven had strong tasting of hazelnut and chocolate while the Salted Mr Brown had a distinct taste of sea salt and a tinge of chocolate. One of the richest tastes of ice cream I have found here! For full review and more photos, please visit http://makanarts.com/2013/08/31/the-daily-scoop-clementi-arcade/ continue reading

The Daily Scoop at sunset way is quite out of the way and I only went there because my friend was driving and we wanted a quiet place for desserts! But the place was quite crowded on a Friday night despite being in a far off and quieter part of Singapore. After trying some flavours, decided to go for something more unique, Bailey's Choc Chip. Don't be surprised if you don't see the some flavours of ice cream being displayed. But if the name of the ice cream is displayed, it means that the flavour is available! Don't be shy to ask to try I think they have too many flavours, not enough space to display all the tubs. Bailey's Choc Chip has alcohol content and usually that's what I go for in an ice cream. This did not disappoint me at all as the bailey's weren't very strong and the ice cream isn't too sweet as well. I got one scoop ($3.50) to share with my friend. Alternatively, if you prefer to have smaller scoops so you can order more flavours, you can get the junior scoop ($2.20). continue reading

Ordered chocolate flavour and chocolate mint flavour. The mint flavour was really good - very refreshing and minty yet not overwhelming. I had to eat finish the mint ice-cream first before proceeding with the chocolate ice-cream as the chocolate flavour overpowered the mint's flavour. The Daily Scoop is one of my favourite places to get my fix of ice-cream! continue reading
