The mussel and clams pot cooked in white wine sauce is really awesome! I prefer the mussels to the clams but you can order if you want all mussels, all clams, or mixed. I love the ambience at Robert Timms @ Wheelock. It's laid back, cool (literally, the aircon is GREAT on a warm day), and the food & drinks are spot on. the pancetta in this pasta had some off smell. didn't really like it. but the creaminess of the sauce was great. love the mushrooms and the pasta which is cooked nicely and not too soft or hard. the overall dish is a bit salty, probably to counteract the creaminess. the wait for the food can take a while. service is lacklustre and slow. it's a good location to people watch. as the service was so slow, we cancelled our dessert orders. about $22

this pasta came out with lots of red bits in it - red sausage, red mince, red oily sauce, red chillies. so it was not a surprise that it was very spicy when placed in the mouth. the chorizo was tasty but the extra spiciness was a bit too much. took a long time to finish this dish as it was so spicy. the presentation was nice in a huge big bowl. the pasta was al dente. definitely need to order a cold drink to go with this. cost about $25. service is pretty lousy and slow.

Don't be deceived by the pictures in the menu, the portion is really big. The eggs benedict wasn't very fantastic.The calamari was very chewy and I love the batter. Didn't try the fries though.Service was slow and took long for us to have the bill. Not very good eye contact from the crew. The manager was impatient with us when we were ordering.

My previous visit to The house of Robertson Times was great, thus I have decided to patronize them again. I have ordered their herb roasted spring chicken which consists of Herb-roasted half chicken with onion brown sauce served with choice of French fries or criss cut fries. Mrupupup went to House of Robert Timms at Wheelock Place in Orchard Road. Wow, Robert Timms had 'Australian' type of food. The dinner time meal consists of kangaroo meat in special sauce (photo attached), snapper fish fillet cooked in paper and soup, brownie with ice cream and a nice cup of coffee from Robert Timms.
