Manhattan Fish Market has long been a favourite of mine, and a go-to place for quick, no-frills seafood. They serve up a good range of briny goodness, ranging from a wide variety of fish to scallops, mussels, squid and prawns. One of my favourite platters is the Scallops Fish Chicken Combo, which supplements the three meats with chips, veggies and their signature garlic herb rice. It's filling, satisfying and diverse all at once. The slabs of grilled chicken are consistently tender and moist, and huge in portion too. The fish fingers are juicy and fried to crisp, golden perfection. While the scallops do not pack much taste, they provide a welcome chewy texture to the platter.I love how well-balanced this platter is, with a good dose of carbs thrown in with the fragrant rice and savoury chips. Crucially, the broccoli and carrots provide some much-needed fibre. Overall, this is a timeless favourite of mine. continue reading

I had a fresh,Tasty Fish & chips at Fish Manhattan. We Started with sea food Chowder soup. Really that was creamy & tasty.Garnished with pepper & quantity of the soup also good enough. Then we moved to the maindish,Dory fish & chips & Grilled dory. The Fish & chips comes with 2 big or 3 medium pieces of dory fish fillet fried & some quantity of french fries & some salad & mayonaise dip finally half lemon. The Grilled dory fish comes with A big fillet dory grilled & seasoning with some spices & comes with Some fragrant fried rice.If you want more spicy they have some chilli vinegar sauce, you can get at a free of cost.If you want more cheese you hae to pay additionaly.Other than this they have so many starters like,Country mushroom fry, clamsfry, etc.Sea food  mixed platters as a main dish & soup arities,Soft drinks, especially desserts like pineapple cheese cake.......... continue reading

seafood marinara pasta $15.95. This pasta has mussels, shrimps and calamari in it. The marinara sauce tasted average and comparable to pasta mania's version.manhattan mud pie $4.90 this is damn good! although it was served as hard as a rock due to it being frozen, it will appeal to those who love ice-cream and chocolate. at only $4.90, it is worth the money. mud pie is ironically one of the best items that manhattan fish market has to offer. continue reading

Went to MFM for dinner with a group of friends! I ordered Dory Fish and Chips set meal (lite version). The fish was crispy and soft on the inside. It was easy to tear the fish meat into bite sized portions although I do have a little difficulty dipping it into the tartar sauce. As a result I just smeared the sauce on the fillet before eating. The set meal comes with a soup of the day and choice of drink. Today’s soup of the day was mushroom soup. It didn’t disappoint though it reminds me of the mushroom soup from another restaurant and so it didn’t impress either. There was nothing to differentiate it from other restaurants. The food is served pretty quick which is pleasant. continue reading

I always see long queues at Manhattan Fish Market during meal times, hence I decided to give it a try.I ordered a Fish and chips which was their all time favourite according to the waitress. The wait for the meal was quite long, about fifteen minutes. I guess they cooked fresh when ordered. The fish was coated with tempura skin, a bit too oily for my liking. The fish tasted fresh and smooth without the frozen smell. continue reading
