A fuss-free self-service restaurant located mainly around the CBD areas, The Rotisserie serves a rather wicked freshly-roasted chicken and gourmet salads. This time, we visited for business discussion tea, but a revisit for lunch is warranted for sure, because the chicken and greens look so enticing. The Hot Caramel Chocolate (SGD6.50) which I managed to steal a couple sips of, was rather lovely. The touch of caramel balanced out the strong chocolate-y flavor and gives it a unique twist, perfect for those fancying a hot beverage. We had a slice of Lemon Drizzle Cake (SGD$4.00) to share, simply because it looked interesting - lemon cake! The texture was hard and dry, with the light, citrusy fragrance of lemon with every bite of the cake. We felt that the taste was not bad, but texture could be softer for sure. For full review and more photographs, please feel free to visit:http://thearcticstar.blogspot.sg/2015/02/tea-at-rotisserie-marina-bay-financial.html continue reading

Tried the roast chicken here, it came with a choice of sides so I picked mashed potatoes and cheesy cauliflower. I enjoyed the chicken as it was moist and tender, and the potatoes were good. However, the cheesy cauliflower was a little bland. I'm not the top fan of cauliflower in the first place but it was either that or a side of peas. It would have been better if there was more variety in terms of sides. But the price was good and affordable. continue reading
