The Yang's Traditional Hainanese Chicken Rice (Closed)

This chicken rice stall has delicious rice and very tender chicken slices. I love the food there I hope that they can also improve to become the best Chicken rice stall in Singapore. The food here can almost make me starve even when I'm not really hungry. The other dishes offered by this stall are also quite tasty but not as good as their chicken rice. Perhaps they can consider improving other dishes to become as good as their chicken rice.

Most of my friends always come here for their famous hainanese chicken rice. However as for me, my favourite here was their braised peanuts. The peanuts used are actually quite huge in size. The peanuts since like have been braised for several hours as the braised peanuts are really well cooked, which are really most and soft inside. Great to eat it on its own or as an ideal side dish to go along with the chicken rice.

This restaurant may have really nice and fragrant hainanese chicken rice, but i should say they may not have very nice side dishes to go along with their signature main course. One of them will be their dumplings soup, which the soup is quite tasteless and not much ingredients in it as well. Even though vegetables are quite fresh,but it was abit bitter. The dumplings are quite big in size,but not much taste as well.

The shop has one of the best roasted chicken meat rice in town. The roasted chicken skin is very juicy and fill of the nice fragrant from the sweet sauce used in marinating it. The chicken meat is also very tender and juicy. The chicken rice is very fragrant and not too soggy, which I can easily requested for almost three plates at one time to eat along with my roasted chicken, as it just taste so yummy!

I had eaten at Young's Traditional Hainanese Chicken Rice before at the braddell road outlet and wanted to try their new stall at Serangoon. I ordered roast chicken rice and home made barley.
