Introduction
“Tianfu”, an English name direct translated from its more well-known Chinese character (天府), was registered as Paradise On Earth in English. The birth of Tianfu was set to serve the locals with an experience of true Hong Kong style taste of “Da Bin Lu” (打边炉). Over the years, we have blended in some local accents to adapt our recipe to the mass market. Nevertheless, the Hong Kong style origin of thick broth, fresh food supplements and some familiar Hong Kong recipes remain the icon of Tianfu menu. continue reading

Double happiness for such Superior Broth, we were given two Soup Bases. Buffet style, we crazily ordered the food until the table fully-occupied. Decent and fresh foodies served, they were all arranged neatly in plate. Airy cozy environment, we chatted, laughed and enjoyed our time there while waiting the ingredients to be boiled. The soup was awesome after soaking of so many dishes, the sweetness and spiciness was lovely delightful. Bouncy balls and thinly sliced meat were a flavourful addition to the steamboat satisfaction. Common pricing for buffet, $19.80 for adult during weekdays and all charges subjected to GST. It worthwhile, I was very full after this scrumptious steamboat. continue reading

I always love steamboat especially on rainy cold days. The best is that this place cater for both spicy and non spicy diners. There's a divider in their steamboat so we chose one which is hot and the other not. We tried their tom yum and chicken flavour soup based. They serve ala carte items and buffet as well. We had buffet style. For buffet, it cost about $20 per pax but the selection was rather limited. Many items such as luncheon meat, stuffed meat balls etc were not found in buffet menu. You have to order separately. I had stuffs like prawns, beef etc. Their ingredients are all really fresh! It is recommended you make reservation before you go as it is usually packed during dinners. continue reading

Me and my friends love to hangout at Tianfu. My friend's cousin is a member, hence, we get 20% discount!Normally we will eat dinner/supper together there. Meaning, we normally go at 7.30pm and eat and chit chat until close to 12? You will need to book in advance due to the huge crowd! If you didn't book, most likely you won't be able to get a seat.. On both weekdays and weekends. Love their beef especially there, the other ingredients are all fresh and taste superb as well. Their soup base normally we order chicken and tomyum. They will put a divider in the pot for you. continue reading

I've always been a fan of steamboat but I have never ventured out of the usual chicken, tom yam and mala soup base until my friend introduced me to satay soup base for steamboat at Tianfu. To my surprise, I didn't feel "overdosed" with satay sauce at all. It made everything that was cooked in the soup taste saltier but yet, manage to keep the original taste of the ingredients. They serve ala carte items and buffet as well. For buffet, it cost about $20 per pax but the selection was rather limited.
