Taupok, "You Tiao" aka fried dough sticks were all toasted and mixed within the sticky prawn paste and other essential items (Jellyfish, beansprouts, kangkong, cucumbers) that can be found usually in a plate of Rojak. Thereafter with chopped peanuts sprinkled all over, making it more appealing.

Having tried better ones elsewhere, I would say that I still prefer Hoover Rojak, Brother's Rojak & Soon Heng Rojak in Toa Payoh over this.

Now let's see, how special can a plate of rojak gets? First, the ingredients. From fried doughstick, raddish and pineapple, everything blends well so nicely with the rojak sauce. Second, the rojak sauce.
The special concoction that makes it the rojak sauce is the key success of the dish. It has a slight tangy taste which makes the rojak very appetizing and addictive. Aside from the sauce, the peanut crush enhanced the sauce texture and gave tasters a tasteful experience.

The whole combination of fresh ingredients and special rojak sauce makes the rojak a rare gem at old airport road hawker centre. It's no wonder the stall owner has installed a digital queue number system for customers to order. This is a really popular stall and they really serve nice rojaks, so must give it a try!

Now the old couple assigned their son-in-law to run the business and he was there help to prepare the rojak. The standard is still maintained, it is not too sweet, just nice! Just like last time you need to get queue number. Just sit near the stall when they flash your number all you have to do is to go up and make your order and in about 5 mins you will get your yummy rojak!

This rojak stall attracts many people and the demand is so huge that they have to implement a queue system to order your rojak. When you place your order, you will be given a queue number. Don't be deceived by the lack of crowds mobbing the stall- they are all probably waiting somewhere else for their number to flash!I am not too sure why people find this one of the best rojak in Singapore but I guess the stall has got many things right on the dish. I am not too sure why people find this one of the best rojak in Singapore but I guess the stall has got many things right on the dish. The ingredients were undoubtedly really fresh- chunks of juicy pineapple, cucumber, bean sprouts coupled with crispy you tiao and tau pok, covered in their very delicious prawn paste, scattered with crunchy peanut bits. It is a good mix of taste and textures and I enjoyed savouring every bite of this dish!

The Service
Waiting time still acceptable as the food is served within 15mins and they use number display instead of queuing

The Ambience
Although the stall is in a Hawker Center, i find that the place was well-ventilated and not stuffy hence still acceptable

The Price
Reasonably priced at $3 onwards per plate for decent portion.

Overall
I will definitely come back again and highly recommended to try this!

I love rojak and eat it often, so I had to try out this famed stall at the old airport food centre. This stall is so popular that they even have a queue system in place! So be prepared to wait when you come here to try out their rojak! The rojak was flavourful and well-balanced, with a generous shower of peanuts. One of the best rojaks around and worth trying out at least once.

The first step to eating this rojak is to take a number tag then wait for your turn to order. I ordered the $4 portion. It came with fresh tasting ingredients like pineapple, cucumber, bean sprouts, tau pok and you tiao. It was then mixed in thick prawn paste. A generous bit of grounded peanuts then sprinkled on top just before served. The portion was good enough to be shared amongst 2 person. It is a delicious plate of rojak and i truly enjoyed it. I have heard that this place serves some decent rojak but sadly, I may have to give it a lower rating. Personally, I love my rojak to be spicy and thick with gravy, that is why I asked for more prawn paste and chilli upon order. To my surprise, the rojak was really drenched with sauce, so much so that it was just too salty for me. I ended up eating the ingredients and left the sauce out. As a tip, don’t ask for more sauce in future.

Brought a plate of spicy Rojak as a dessert for dinner. This stall implemented a queue numbering system and customer can collect their Rojak based on the number given to them which I think is a good way of collecting their Rojak. Other ingredients includes mang guang and cucumber which add a crunchy texture to the Rojak. Overall quite a good stall offering a spicy type of Rojak and the price is reasonable.

I usually take a number first and then go order other foods and get a seat near the rojak stall to wait for my number appeared on the LED board. I ever asked the boss once for his reason to have such a numbering system. He said, the long waiting time is part of the reason as they make an effort to grill every you tiao before cutting it and mixing with the sauce and the rest of ingredients like pineapple, turnip, cucumber, bean sprouts etc.

I enjoyed the crispiness of the you tiao as well as the tau pok even after mixing with the sauce, i can still clearly taste the crispy texture. The prawn paste used is of excellent quality but the grounded peanuts tasted just normal.

Recommended.
