Other than the usual toast and bread available in this toast box eatery, I was surprise that they also sell Nasi lemak so decided to buy it to try.  Restaurant was quote squeezy and was abit warm here.  Simple white wooden furnishings but with bright layout which make the dining environment look simple and cheerful.  Basic nasi lemakat $5.90 was charged abit expensive as the moment it was served to my table, I feel the portion was not that generous.  coconut rice was very soggy and the grain are

Basic nasi lemakat $5.90 was charged abit expensive as the moment it was served to my table, I feel the portion was not that generous.  coconut rice was very soggy and the grain are all stick together.  Chicken wing was very dry and too salty, and very difficupt to chew as well.  The sambal chilli has save this dish which is flavourful and appetizing.  However with the not so friendly attitude from their staffs and poor food standard, I will not be here again.

I was drinking Lemongrass Tea during tea time. It was crowded at Toast Box MBS. I saw all staffs was busying and preparing food ordered by customers, the business was very good especially weekends.A bit sour, it tasted comfort and hearty anyway. The price was slightly higher than other outlets, costed $2.80 each cup. It would be better if the temperature there was lower because I noticed that it was quite warm during afternoon.

Love the food here. The laksa was good and flavourful. The noodles were the short thick beansprout looking kind and its quite chewy and nice. It wasnt too spicy and was just nice. Had the barley and the thick toast here too. The barley is homemade and you could really tell this from the taste. The toast and soft boiled eggs were good too. Overall, affordable yet satisfying meal

I went to Marina Bay Sands for iLight Event last Saturday. Unfortunately, it was drizzling that day. Luckily i had my umbrella with me. So my BF and i walked around the Marina Bay Sands to enjoy the light decoration. It was really awesome. After walking so long, we both were hungry and tired so we went back to the Shoppes MBS for supper! I ordered Fish Ball Hor Fun Soup and he ordered Mee Siam. Each bowl comes with a Homemade Barley. The environment was pretty cozy too.

I like Toastbox as it is fuss free and the environment is quite vibrant and bright. Although the sets are a little more value for money, but I still decided to order my cup of teh-c and eggs ala carte. The teh-c today is not too well done. I guess too much of the evaporated milk is added such that it tasted too milky. The eggs are boiled just the way I liked it to be - runny and not hard. I usually beat one at a time into the plate so that I can slurp it in one mouthful.

This toastbox is really quiet with hardly any customer on a Saturday afternoon. When we first arrive we were the only customer, we had the whole place to ourselves. The cashier said they are busy on weekday but quiet during weekend. We ordered drinks and light snacks after our walk from Marina Bay Sand. The laksa is not bad with a slighly spicy gravy topped with fish cakes, beancurd puff & hard boiled egg. If you order the set, it comes with barley. The ham sandwich is toasted bread with a slice

The ham sandwich is toasted bread with a sliced of ham & cheese. The plain looking banana cake is soft & moist with a hint of banana flavour. The ice cold lemongrass tea has strong English tea with lemongrass flavour.

I always like Toast box, like the ambience there, like the foods and drinks there. The wall is white, the chair is white, the chair is white and the place it white too. I like the ice milk tea there but it’s a little bit too sweet. They have 2 interesting menu which it’s Thick Toast with Bananas + Strawberries, and Thick Toast with Peaches + Bananas. I’ve ordered the Thick Toast with Bananas + Strawberries, but they are run out of the banana. They offered me Strawberry with Peaches. Wow~ I love it!

It’s basically made of toasted thick toast, cut into bite-sizes. Then, they sprinkle it with banana and strawberry slices or peach slices, lastly drizzled with syrup. The toast is crunchy while the fruit is soft. It’s a good blend. It’s selling at $2.50. It’s not so expensive and nice, why not a second round?
