Looking at how much I fancied every single flavor I tried, I think this gesture is, rather, meant for one to find the flavors that one likes the most. Prices here are reasonable too. A small, medium and large cup go for $2.80, $3.70 and $4.70 respectively, and one can choose to have up to two flavors. The scoopers pack in the ice-cream very tightly too! Look at the pictures below and you'll get what I mean. It's like they're trying to give you as much ice-cream as they can fit into the cup!

After hearing so much about tom's palette, I had to try it since i was at shaw towers. The ice cream servers were really nice and had great service as they were very friendly and gave us quite a lot to try the flavours. In the end i settled for salted egg yolk and chocolate. I picked salted egg yolk as it was such a unique flavour and mmmm i really like it. The chocolate was also really rich. And the best part of all it was so cheap! It only cost 2.90 after a 10% discount for students.

Tom's Palette sells really good homemade ice cream! My friend ordered a combination of their awesome chocolate sorbet and reindeer flavour. Their reindeer one consists of a unique combination of chestnuts! Imagine ice cream made of chestnuts! Amazing. The chocolate sorbet is slightly bitter as any good chocolate should taste of.

Me and my friends were out on the streets randomly searching for a dessert place when we came across this stall selling good ice cream! There were lots of unique flavours and after trying almost all of them, I decided to get their rosemary apple and rum and raisin flavour. The rum and raisin was simply awesome! The bitterness of the rum was hidden in the raisin. And the mix of the alchohol and the sweet icecream was delicious!

They expanded their store not too long ago, to include a proper dining area with more tables and stools, but may still be a bit cramped for some, especially with their loyal stream of crowd. Find some place else with good upholstery and fancy music if you're looking to park and chill. Otherwise, this is the place to satisfy your ice cream cravings.

Tom's Palette sells great ice cream! I particularly love their Hazelnut flavour ice cream. It is so rich in the hazelnut flavour and is thick and smooth. Every spoonful of it is such a bliss. I also like their honeydew flavour. Thick and flavourful! Very strong honeydew taste, feels just like eating the fruit itself, just that this is an even nicer snack!

I scream good ice cream! Got myself a large cup of Hazelnut and Salted Caramel Cheesecake ice cream. A cupful of wonderful sweet wholesomeness, a definite cure for your sweet tooth. Hazelnut is so fragrant and sweet, it's so similar to chocolates. The salted caramel cheesecake was so good, I felt like i was really eating the real thing. Good ice cream, reasonable pricing, a must not miss!

Granny's Favourite, one of my favourites! Not too sweet, so smooth that just melt in your mouth. I go there at the very least once a month cause I'll always crave for their ice cream. Like Granny's Favourite, their ice cream are homemade, and really super smooth. Probably the smoothest ice cream I've eaten so far. Their tables are filled with satisfied customers' messages and published reviews, definitely live up to it. A good place for small groups to just hangout after meals.

To celebrate CNY, Tom's Palette has launched five seasonal flavors- Eight Treasure sorbet, luo han guo, pineapple tart, pumpkin & winter melon and tau sar piah. My favorite would be the pineapple tart flavor (right), an amalgamation of tangy pineapple ice cream and bits of chewy pineapple jam, with tart chunks crumbled in for a buttery edge. And my favorite pistachio ice cream (left) never fails to put a smile on my face- how I wish it'll be available more often!

A friend recently tipped me off about the limited-edition kuromitsu ice cream, and I'm absolutely glad I dropped by Shaw Towers that evening just for it- the deep and earthy flavor of Okinawan brown sugar combined brilliantly with the signature silkiness of Tom's ice cream! It's a real pity that this flavor will no longer be available due to certain reasons, but nonetheless, do give kuromitsu ice cream a try if you ever come across it.

During my latest visit, I had some decently intense green tea ice cream (left), as well as pineapple tart ice cream (right) that tasted even better than before! Do give the latter a try soon if you wish- the CNY flavors will only be available till the end of the month.

Chocolate pudding (fruit cake with marshmallows) was already sold out by the time I reached but the friendly staff gave me a really generous sample. It’s like a nutty old-fashioned chocolate ice-cream, I like!

White Chocolate Cranberries and White Christmas (below, candy cane with mint) didn’t catch my fancy cuz I don’t like white choc and the latter was soooo minty, kinda like toothpaste!

And this is also the first time I came across Longan Red Dates (in both pics above). According to 8 Days, this is “ideal for auntie types too lazy to brew liang teh” (herbal tea). Heh, so now I’m an auntie! But who cares, what a great way to soothe the sore throat I’ve been having lately, haha.

Tom's palette homemade ice cream has been serving the ice cream since 2005. They emphasis on the no stabilisers for ice cream. Various flavours created by Tom's palette such as cheesecake, tiramisu, etc. Do check out with the friendly staff for the new flavors. Chocolate stout and summer berry was the final decision for us after the sampling of various flavors. The chocolate stout is a bit bitter and mixed well with the summer berry which is a mixture of sweet and sour. Will definitely go there

And where else but Tom’s Palette could we expect to find such a novel concoction? While this flavour may not suit everyone’s tastebuds, I personally felt that the salted egg yolk was pretty well-incorporated into the ice cream, making for a cheesy and
intriguing taste experience.

It’s a pity that there aren’t any A&W outlets in Singapore anymore, but why not try the Sarsi float ice cream at Tom’s instead? Fizzy yet creamy, this refreshing flavour was like an ice cream float in reverse. I'd have Sarsi float ice cream over the actual drink anytime!

There's been an explosion of ice cream parlors in town, and while the flavors they offer may be just as numerous and well-executed, the key reason why I've been going back to Tom's Palette is because few manage to hit the spot in terms of texture like they do. Quality ingredients (read: NO stabilizers are added) are key to good ice cream, and at $2.80/$3.60/$4.50 for a small/medium/large cup, you get a really good deal for the price you pay. Go on and be envious (as if it actually helps?!), but I'll readily declare that Tom's Palette is one of the few ice cream outlets in my book which truly deserve a revisit.

I've also sampled Black Sesame, which I found to be too intense for my liking. I’m sure those who like 芝麻糊 will love it though! Fans of the malted milk drink should give Horlicks a try, and the refreshing sabayon- marsala wine ice cream with berries- is bound to please too.

Tom's Durian ice cream is available only twice a year, in Tom’s anniversary month of September. That's such a pity, 'cos their durian ice cream was really good- I simply had to have more after devoring a medium cup of it! Non-durian fans need not worry about the aroma of the pungent fruit possibly affecting the taste of the other ice cream flavors as the tub of durian ice cream is thoughtfully covered up. Hazelnut is decent too, and really reminded me of Ferrero Rocher!

With a generous amount of roasted pecans embedded in an especially smooth and creamy ice cream, Buttered Pecan and Banana Honey Roasted Nuts will definitely please those who love nuts. Fans of cinammon should go for the Apple Pie, studded with apple chunks and bites of speculoos.

What was, however, more memorable for me was the Melt ‘n’ Sizzle, brown sugar ice cream mixed with berries and chocolate chunks. I had a blast enjoying how the popping candy embedded in the chocolate fizzled away in my mouth- you've got to try it for yourself!

I like my cheng tng, so it was no surprise that I loved Tom’s Longan Red Date, a silky cold creation concentrated with the natural goodnesss of dried longans. And their Pistachio ice cream will always remain a perennial favorite of mine, ‘nuff said (:

Granny’s Favourite (chocolate, malt and cookie dough) is one of the bestsellers and I think there’s gonna be a protest if the good people at Tom’s Palette ever take it off the menu, lol. Melt & Sizzle invokes memory of childhood cuz of the huge chunks of “popping candy” chocolate in it. Very old school and retro~

Somehow, I wasn’t satisfied after licking the cups clean… So no choice but to get another cup =)

Chocolate sorbet is decent but doesn’t taste as dark as it looks. And look, I’ve found another new favourite: Black Swirl — a lovely concoction of black glutinous rice in rich coconut, nice!
