This is one of the cheaper options in Ion Orchard if you are looking for a filling meal or craving Jap but dont have the budget for restaurant fare. The Bento Set A which includes 2 chicken, 1 pork and 1 chicken ball yakitori stick with pickles and seaweed topped delicious japanese rice is my all time favourite and answer to a satisfying meal. I really like the rice, every grain is so shiny and fragrant that I can eat it on its own with just the seaweed and pickles and the special Tori Q sauce on the rice. You can choose the yakitoris that you like, to go with the rice too, if you do not like the combination of the bento sets. My ultimate favourite is the chicken ball, love the meaty balls with the glazed sauce. The Ion outlet is always busy especially during lunch and dinner peak periods, but the queue moves very fast.Read More

Was walking around Orchard Food Hall and decided to get the Pork and Asparagus stick ($2.20).There is a few variations to this. Instead of Asparagus, one can also find the mushroom. The pork is tender and paired with crunchy asparagus sticks, its quite tasty with different textures.I also like to get the Chicken Kaarage and Chicken balls from the same stall and with rice you can get a complete meal.Read More

What's a nice and cheap alternative for dinner? My answer to this is Tori Q's bento!Me and my friend ordered Set A and B respectively :)My Set A consists of 2 chicken sticks, 1 pork stick and 1 stick of chicken ball.My friend's Set B consists of 2 grilled chicken sticks, 1 chicken with green pepper and 1 stick of chicken ball.I love my dinner that day!Portion was great, generous serving of the pearl rice and tasty signature Tori Q sauce Not forgetting the "veggies" in the splatters of seaweed flakes on the rice I like the tender chicken and chicken balls, the pork was a tad tough though!Otherwise, the meal's great! This is what i call value for the price paid Read More

Ordered a bento box for $5.40 which consisted of hash brown, pork, chicken and chicken karaage. Queue was rather long during lunch hours and I waited for around 10 minutes and managed to get a seat. The pork and chicken were marinated well and did not taste salty. The chicken kaarage was crispy on the outside and tender in the inside. It was not oily too. I also liked the seaweed toppings that complemented the japanese rice well. Read More

I ordered the Bento Set A at $5.80 which come with 1 chicken ball, 1 pork, 2 chicken and rice. It's good enough for single lunch and no need to add more yakitori sticks. The chicken taste is as usual, tender and juicy. I like the chicken ball and pork stick more.Go & try their yakitori stick, dipped in the black sweet sauce. That's really delicious. I recommend their chicken ball.Read More

Chanced upon Tori Q at Ion with my colleague, couldn't really decide on what's up for lunch. I was craving for pork with asparagus and here we go!It is always interesting to see how they prepare the items as you pass by the stall. They are good in inventing machines to cook and grill the items, in this way standard and taste is consistent. My all time favourite would be their pork with asparagus stick, hash brown stick and chicken fillet stick. All nice and tender, and best of all, the sauce they made, enhances the overall taste! The queue at this stall is forever long, we have to wait at least 10-15 minutes till our turn however, it's really worth the wait. The seats are limited there hence, please remember to reserve some of the seats before making an order. It's my turn and I made the standard choice of mine, it would never fails to add up till 10 bucks and I would always feel the pinch of it. But I always remind myself, I pay for quality. So far, it's really good, never once I have ate a meal there unsatisfied though. Read More

I am a fussy eater usually went with the food I want to eat. Coming to Tori Q again, although I just had it few days before yet I started to miss the food. You may define it as fast food, an affordable Japanese fast food. The customers buying their food were non-stoppable. The serviette they provided was so cute, it designed as a little chick.Juicy and tender Chicken Karaage($1.40) also appetizing Teriyaki Chicken Balls($1.50) with the rice ($0.90), I bought one box bento for myself. Karaage was tasted like crunchy nugget which was boneless. Healthy minced chicken with veggies adding inside, Chicken Ball was the must-try item. It costed me $6.70 for my combination.Read More

Tori Q is a convenient fast food chain for Yaki Tori. You can order their Yaki Tori in sticks or in a bento set with rice, some prickles & seaweed. They have 3 standard bento sets for you to choose from, but I prefer to mix & match myself as I am not a fan of some of the items in the standard sets. For my set, i chose:Rice - $1.50Chicken Skin - $1.20Chicken - $1.10Pork - $1.20Total $5 for the set. Quite affordable & tasty, however I dont really like too much sweet sauce on the rice. Will have to take note to tell the service not to drench too much of the sauce next time.Read More

I ordered the Set B Bento which consist of 2 chicken, 1 chicken ball and 1 chicken with capsicums. I add another stick of Chicken Karaage (deep fried chicken) to go with my rice. There's a queue actually during lunch hour and I could see the workers inside in a fast motion to prepare the meat skewers before it runs out in the front cashier. I would prefer my rice to be drenched more in the black sweet sauce where the server uses to dip the skewers before putting it into my box of rice. The chicken tasted good as usual, moist and juicy. The deep fried chicken however is a waste of money as it is very dry, taste like it's been fried and left there for quite long. Don't think I will add this to my bento again.Read More

Really like the yakitori sticks here! The sauce is what makes them really good. It is savory and tasty and of a good consistency such that it coats each piece of meat very nicely. Each stick comes with a few pieces of juicy meat cooked to perfection and dipped in their signature sauce. I like to get a rice set for a more substantial meal which comes with a few sticks of yakitori and rice with some pickles. Try the chicken balls they are the best!Read More

Tori Q is my favourite to-go rice box, but this outlet's service and quality is quite disappointing despite being located in ION orchard. The service is rude and demanding, as if the customers owed them something. It is really quite appalling. On top of that, the rice is too soggy. Definitely lost its former standard of what it should be. The meat itself is still quite delicious in general. The rice is an important part of the whole rice box, but a pity it was not done properly. $5.70 for the one above. Too expensive for this quality.Read More

I will always order this when I work late cause, it is convenient and delicious. Anyway, once in a while I will still crave for it. I will usually order the set A $5.80 which consist of one chicken balls, two chicken sticks and one pork sticks. Love the chicken balls. They will add on the so pickle radish and seaweed. Usually, I will add on the hashbrown cause I really liked it. It is only an additonal of $0.80. It is really affordable. If you would like to pick and choose, it is also possible. Read More

When you're in a rush for lunch, a quick box of this Japanese bento is a good deal. It's not over the moon fantastic, but at least it's still able to satisfy. I had mine with 2 sticks of chicken meatballs (so far one of my favourite sticks to choose), one stick of pork, and one stick of chicken. Drizzled with gravy and a small side of pickles, plus a sprinkling of seaweed. Read More

Set B is my favourite whenever I have the craving for japanese bento food without having to always dine at a restaurant. the meat balls and "kebab" is very very flavourful and pairs off really well with the fluffy fragrant pearl rice. Those who haven't tried it yet, you're missing out! Read More
