I love TWG since my first visit, and still do. I just cannot stop visiting them for the impeccable service, luxurious ambience complete with pretty decor, classy tableware and soothing music, and also the delectable food. And of course, the wide variety of good tea.Whether one is enjoying tea sandwiches there, indulging in sweet pastries or having main courses, it is always a pleasure as the quality remains superior. I also love their hot teas served in nice pot jackets, or sometimes the Pink Beauty - watermelon juice with tea.For more details and photos, do visit:http://thearcticstar.blogspot.sg/2013/11/twg-tea-company.html continue reading

TWG is well known for its finest tea and for the first time, I actually met up with my cousin from overseas for high tea during dinner time.We ordered various sets of desserts, from chocolate molten to scones and more. What surprised us was that the manager of this outlet actually gave us complimentary macarons of 5 different flavours! What could actually be better than good service from a rather high end cafe? I really love their macarons because each and everyone of them is actually infused with tea flavouring that makes it very special.Although it's rather pricey, but worth it! (: continue reading

One of my favourite places is definitely TWG as it serves one of the finest tea. Having an afternoon hightea at TWG is definitely luxurious. The macarons are not too bad as well with slight taste of their tea series (the macarons were on the house). On the other hand, the molten lava cake just tasted a little normal and slightly overpriced. The serving was a little small too. Personally, i felt that TWG is a real good place for high tea however it is considered to be slightly expensive. continue reading

After dinner, my friend and I decided to have tea and small dessert at TWG. I ordered a chocolate peppermint tea. I love that the chocolate smell was very strong when it was served. being a chocolate fan, the aroma was very pleasing. Sipping into the tea, the peppermint took over my palate and was very soothing to my throat and stomach. We ordered a chocolate macaroon and caramel to taste. The chocolate macaroon did not disappoint. The crust was fluffy and nice. The chocolate inside was yummy. The caramel flavor was kind of too sweet for my liking though. continue reading

Along Circle-line, TWG was located at Marina Bay Sands. I recently revisited it again to try out another kind of culinary in different category, patisserie in previous, I am going to have their pasta. Staffs were passionate, ambience was beautiful comfy too. What I can say was nothing fantastic, common taste without any surprise. Luckily, we came here after a proper lunch, the portion was a little smaller than we expected. Sauce was appropriate by the way, with seafood fragrant and pieces of squids were found. I was still prefer their hi-tea dessert instead of main course, sorry to comment it was a rarely disappoint. continue reading
