Had a plate of chicken wanton noodles and added soy sauce chicken. Total cost for this was $4. The soup was surprisingly well-flavoured and tasted good. The overall taste of the noodles were good too. The noodles had the springy texture but the ingredients were quite little. There were some char siew, dumplings and soy sauce chicken. The chilli was a little oily but it went well with the noodles which had a smooth texture as well. Overall, it's worth a try continue reading

This stall has one of the longest queues apart from the fishball noodle stalls -when you get hold of one of their plates of wanton mee, you understand why. They serve favourites such as wanton mee, shuijiao mian (dumpling noodle) and you ji mian (chicken noodles), each at only $2.50!! Half a chicken is $11 while the full chicken is $25 -pretty good deal if you ask me!We ordered a plate of chicken noodles each and a bowl of dumpling soup to share (also $2.50)The queue is long and the stall closes around 1.30pm or so -be sure to go earlier for lunch if you want to get your hands on some good wanton mee before they run out, yikes!Just look at that gorgeous shrimp in the shuijiao! There are bits of water chestnut so it provides a lovely crunch, the dumplings also have a really nice aroma, and there is adequate filling. The skin does not break apart easily too! The soup is clear and has a very pleasant savouriness that isn't loaded with heaps of MSG -it's light and refreshing. Delicious.$2.50 gets you 5 dumplings! The chicken noodles were good -but not as good as their wanton mee/dumpling noodles. The chicken was lean and had little fat, the noodles were springy and the sauce was fragrant enough when mixed in. I had a slight grouse with the taste of the chicken and noodles in general. There was a slightly unpleasant, oily flavour that seemed to be "rubbed into" the noodles and the chicken just wasn't flavoursome enough. One thing good is that the kailan was cooked to a delicious deep green, it wasn't overcooked and best of all? It did not reek of insecticide!!The better of the lot would be their wanton mee and dumpling noodles -the noodles are 'QQ' and the dumplings are absolutely DIVINE. Price wise, it's really fantastic! The portion is well worth a $4 portion in food courts! The stall owners are also terribly patient with their cranky customers, repeating their questions every time (in cantonese/mandarin): with chilli? to have here or to go? etc.Thumbs up for great food- 3/5 for the chicken noodles, 4/5 for the dumpling and wantons!, and service. Pity the queue is so long! continue reading

Inside the Telok Blangah Hawker centre , a long queue is form as early as 7 am in the morning. I bought half soya sauce chicken portion to be shared with 2 friends for early breakfast. The dumpling soup is very tasty and delicious. The tender and juicy chicken drumstick is very popular among the customers , the noodle tasted chewy and cooked at the right temperature. I recommended to go early to avoid the lunch crowds . The stall is open for breakfast and lunch. continue reading

Not the usual wanton mee you can find at the market, the noodles are always cook till perfection, regardless of whether you order the oil chicken, chicken feet, wanton, and char siew, the ingredients used for all are always fresh and tasty. Topped with their black sauce and chilli sauce, a perfect plate of wanton noodle. continue reading
