I realized that this cafe is quite a popular place for company's morning meeting. Many times when I passed by this place, there will be people sitting in cluster, having their breakfast with projector set up, and somebody will be presenting. That makes me hesitate to go in although there are still empty spaces open for public.Anyway, I managed to try it out the other day. ordered the Egg and toast breakfast set ($6.50) at the counter, and absolutely shocked by the bad service given. The staff constantly showing annoyed face, impatient and literally raised the voice when talking. Gosh~!Anyway, after long wait, my egg and toast is finally served to the table. I'm quite impressed with the portion, and love the fact that there's rocket salad as sides. The scrambled egg is nothing too special, not warm enough I must say. The highlight is the toast! It's quite hard in texture, but when you slowly bite and chew, you could taste the wheat flavour, and best of all, it was dipped in syrup before toasted. Yummy.The set also includes a cup of coffee or tea. The flat white tastes Ok, quite a good compliment that goes with the big plate of breakfast.

I bought a discount coupon for this sandwich shop called Upper Crust. It was located in CBD at Basement 1 which sell mostly food on that level. I got the chance to choose a bread, filling and vegetable that i want. After that, the sandwich was heated up in the microwave before i eat. Service is good, and i would like to try other variety next time.

Breakfast doesn’t have to be fanciful or expensive. Upper Crust did a decent Full Breakfast with well-dressed green salad with balsamic vinaigrette, scrambled eggs sprinkled with black pepper, warm buttered toast, sausage and juicy tomatoes. All this was accompanied by a nice cup of cappuccino at the price of 7.80 SGD.
