Decided to be vegetarian for a day ! This is my first time trying out the food at the vegetarian stall. I ordered brown rice because it is healthy. What i didn't expect was that, the portion given to me was huge. Not just the rice, the potatoes, cabbages and pumpkins too. The cost of the food is $2.20 ( Affordable price ) I could hardly finish everything as the portion is too much for me. The brown rice was well cooked as is not too dry and sticky. I dislike eating rice that is sticky and lumpy. When the rice is sticky and lumpy, it is obvious that the person who cooked the rice did not add enough water. Anyway, i have to emphasize that the cabbages are well cooked too. It is fresh and crunchy. As for the pumpkin, i guess it put there for quite awhile, hence the aftertaste is not that good. For the potatoes wise, i have to give a thumb up. Since young, potatoes have been my favourite. It is healthy as one medium size potato has no fat, sodium or cholesterol and it even provides 45% of our daily value of vitamic C My verdict for this plate of food: 4/5 !
