It's the first time both my friend and I tried waraku thus I've decided to order something that I usually don't order in a japanese restaurant, ebi cheese curry udon. My food was served in less than ten minutes despite the crowd and I was apalled by the gigantic bowl which was bigger than my face! The cheese was sprinkled above the thick curry soup base which you can mix it on your own. Ebi (prawn) are really fresh and crunchy. Udon was well mixed with the curry soup base. Overall, the portion was just alright for a dinner.

Ambience and service were up to standard for a busy saturday night!

my first time notice that there is actually new soup base call chige at waraku, which is actually using kimchi. I was quite surprised because it wasnt the typical soup base that I tried but to my amazement, the soup taste not too bad especially for a non-kimchi eater like myself. but the soup tend to be quite spicy so didnt drink most of the soup. the ramen noodle itself was quite ok so the overall nice thing is just the soup base. but i guess is good to try at least once since is something new

We proceeded our way to the restaurant and had sometime in finding it, as we were not so familiar with this shopping centre; ' The Central'. We were all given menu from the waitress after we got a seat right inside the resaurant. The menu was pretty extensive, but all of us ordered either their ramen or udon.
I ordered the chicken curry udon and their presentation really shocked me. A 'GIANT' bowl was served right in front of me with a bigger spoon. I felt that I am living in a 'GIANT WORLD'
When I first tasted it, I felt nothing. However, the more I eat ,the more I love it. Their udon texture was marvellous and sponginess. Although the bowl was served in large size, they provided us with just the right proportion for 1 person stomach to fill in.
The chicken was chewy and it blended well with the curry (THUMBS UP!)
And of course, the curry sauce was thick and yummy. I would suggest individual who was fancied about 'CURRY' to try it. I finished up everything that was in my bowl, YUMMY!
However, as for the cream udon it would be a little difficulty in finishing it alone. The sauce was too creamy and it will be hard to really ate it all.
All the food served to us was excellent. Perhaphs, next time we will be back to try out their side dishes like Grilled butter scallop, Grilled squid, Tofu, Sushi and more.

I love japanese curry and usually orders japanese curry rice bowl when i'm at japanese restaurants. This time however, i decided to try out their curry noodles, and ordered the aburi chicken curry udon.I loved the curry, as it is slightly sweet and spicy (catered to our tastes i guess, since traditional japanese curry is sweet). The use of udon in this dish was a unique combination, although i would have preferred rice instead. The chicken was thick and juicy, although a bit tough.Overall, a nic

I had beef hot plate set! It comes with tempura, egg, salmon sashimi, a hot plate of beef and a bowl of rice. Authentic Japanese eating, we are suppose to dip the beef into the egg and eat it right after but i do it the other way. Pouring the entire egg into the hot plate. The thin slice of beef is fresh and soft. Pretty easy to chew and swallow. Sashimi is fresh too. Tempura is hot and crispy. Kinda normal.. All in all, not too bad!
