A new dish from Watami. I had their seaweed fries in a bucket. I like the way it was served. It came along with 2 sauces, one tomato sauce and another sauce, i can't really figure out what it was. It was a little sourish and smell of bell pepper. The color resembles one too! I didn't like the sauce in yellow. Other than that it was fantastic. The fries was crispy and salty enough. Service here was impeccable too!

This was the second visit to Watami. Tried their hot pot set, which i am quite satisfied with it. So i actually went there again to try out their other food. Ordered their sushi plater, which is also known as Irodori Sushi Grandeur. Thought it would be nice but honestly, it was a disappointing meal. The rice was like too watery, and they just doesn't taste like those normal sushi rice. The ingredients used were quite fresh, but still, not delicious at all. definitely not worth the price.

I'm starting to like this place. I remembered vividly that their service was terrible on my first visit. Now, it was so much better! The food are really nice too. I had Suki-yaki beef. The soup was sweet with all the overflowing generous amount of food in it. From mushroom to tofu to vegetables and thin slices of fresh beef. I also had a side, seaweed fries. It came together with a few sauces. NICE!

Watami is one of my favourite places to have japanese food due to their wide variety of dishes. I decided to other the mentai cheese yamago yaki as well as the wafu pizza and watami salad to share among the two of us. The watami salad is their signature and it is very refreshing with the vegetables, crab mayo and small shrimps. Definitely one of my favourite dishes. Lastly, the mentai cheese yamago yaki is also quite a special dish which you should try if you want something different.

If you like to have your pizza which are more towards the sweeter and more dressing version, the one here at Watami will be able to impress your taste bud. The dough is very thin and light, which the main focus of this pizza is the generous amount of barberque sauce, mayonnise sauce and sweet spicy sauce topped on it. The melted cheese has really make this simply pizza taste really delicious and has really added that extra flavour to it too.

Beef burger with cheese set. I think this is a set lunch or something because i don't seem to see it at other places during dinner hours. Anyway, this meal is value for money and really yummy! The beef is well marinated and soft on the inside. The gravy and cheese made the entire dish really tasty and fragrant. I am so craving for this even while typing these right now. A definite must try dish! No regrets!

I had lunch with my daughter on a weekday at Watami, Ion. We ordered the set lunches as well as a plate of salmon sashimi. I got the Ishiyaki beef pepper rice set. It was quite tasty in my opinion since the beef slices are very thin and the addition of corn helps to enhance the dish as the corn kernels are very sweet. Went to Watami at Ion Orchard last Saturday with one of my friends. Have been craving for Japanese food for a long time. Flipped over the menu, and we found that they actually provides set meal for two or four person. I visited this place not long when they first opened as I had tried their restaurant in Malaysia and I simply love it and was glad they came to Singapore. My friend and I decided to settle down at ion's watami for lunch as it has a special lunch promotion. I ordered the prawn lunch set while my friend ordered the pork lunch set which comes along with salad, miso soup and drink. Watami is always such a long wait before the food arrives. At times, I do wonder is the staff being inefficient as there are many staff in the restaurant. The service of the staff is bad. I ordered the bibimbap which took forever to come. The bibimbap tasted average, nothing special. It was a little too spicy and the rice was hard. It costs $12 for the meal.

Watami for lunch with friends. Ordered their sashimi which I liked very much! It is very fresh and not too thick per slice. When consumed with a bit of wasabi, it is seriously good! Ordered the hotate butter yaki too! It was garlicky with a rich buttery aroma, very appetizing! The shimeji mushrooms were also savory and soft!! YUM YUM!

Dinner at watami with two of my friends, waited for around 5 mins before getting a 3persons seating. I ordered the Ishiyaki bibimbap at $9.80 while my friends ordered beef sukiyaki nabe with a bowl of rice at around $18 +, and mentai potato pizza at $9++. We also ordered some sides, tori karaage for ard $ 8+ and agedashi tofu at $7.
