Relaxing Dinner

such a coincidence to run into a fren when I was doing my rounds in Toa Payoh. My fren went there for a facial and we decided to find a nice place for catchup.Walked all the way from the Library to HDB hub and ended up in OrangeTee Building where this bistro caugh out attention. Initially we thought it was a pub and after walking 1 round, we decided to sit outside on the huge comfortable sofa seats.  Grilled Chicken with rosemary sauce ~ perfectly cooked where the chicken is not tough nor dry and the outer layer is crispy and slightly charred. Well marinated and taste great even without the sauce. I don't really like the sauce as it taste thick and floury... I would still prefer a brown sauce to go with chicken chop.

Free flow Coke.... We spent $16 each ( Big Deal Coupon 50% off)... Original price is near to $30.. Definitely I wouldnt spent this amount for this buffet.. Because the buffet spread is quite limited... and the quality is just average. But since it only cost half the price..so it is still quite worth it.Pizza.... taste quite good..when it is still fresh and hot Try your luck..the first time, I took it... it is not warm anymore so taste .... the second time, I was lucky...it is fresh and hot..t

Pasta! Live Pasta Station.. The chef cooked the pasta on the spot... so it is fresh and hot.. We asked him to add mushroom in the tomato sauce pasta... LIKES (because the mushroom should be for another type of pasta..haha)

Here come the pasta... The pasta tastes quite good..since it is freshly done on the spot... The fried chicken ball doesnt seems to match the pasta sauce..(hmm..I think shredded chicken breast meat seems to be a better choice haha)...

The roast chicken taste okay..hmm..but it is not hot and fresh la... The pork taste quite good..but I think it would taste much better, if it is freshly prepared... And the air con is so strong there, so the roast chicken and roast pork not really warm...

Garlic bread...go well with the mushroom soup.. Love the mushroom soup... yummy! The best item there I think!

Prawns! Hmm... The prawn is slightly overcooked, quite dry... hmm..very soso..but since I am a prawn lover..I had quite a few of them.

Tomato Fried Rice not bad (nthing special la)... as for the noodle tastes ... With slight "burned taste" in it... I prefer the tomato fried rice..

Sushi! Saw salmon sushi on Big Deal website.. Was disappointed there is no salmon sushi at all when we were there... The sushi taste soso la... What can I expect? since this is not a japanese restuarant right..haha

My first serving... (P.S the dory fish with cheese.. taste quite cheesy... but the fish itself is quite good...soft.... I put it into my pasta..with the pasta tomato sauce... it taste better ... Second serving..I took coffee pork rib... hmm..taste quite odd and bitter

Looking for a place to chill out then maybe this is a place for you. Wavve is a place where you can find western food, beer, drinks, big screens showing football matches. The environment was quite relaxing as the chairs are those big comfortable chairs. However, the food standard might need some improvement as I find the food not that nice. The chicken chop was a bit burnt on the skin and the rosemary sauce was too strong for my liking. As for the half spring chicken, the serving size was a bit

The environment was quite relaxing as the chairs are those big comfortable chairs. However, the food standard might need some improvement as I find the food not that nice. The chicken chop was a bit burnt on the skin and the rosemary sauce was too strong for my liking. As for the half spring chicken, the serving size was a bit small. More skin than meat. Having said that, it will still be a good place if you just want to have some finger food and beer while you watch soccer matches.

Wavve...to chill out

We had a small gathering at Wavve and it was our first time there. Wavve is located at OrangeTee Building and it was not crowded when we arrived at 7pm for our dinner. This is a place to chill out as it plays live soccer and have promotions for beer. The ala carte items also have 25% discount during certain timing at night. The environment was quite dim but it was not noisy. The chairs are very comfortable. Christmas mood is all around. As for the food, it was just ordinary, nothing special to note. I had salmon for dinner. It came with mashed potato and salad. The salmon was overcooked and thus very dry. The mashed potato was really mashed too fine. The best will be the salad, that is fresh.

Although the food was just ordinary, the service of the staff was quite good. One can give it a try if you need a place to chill out.
