A traditional delicacy from Westlake not to be missed. Fluffy liked bun sandwiched with braised pork that was slowed braised in the unctous sauce, what a perfect way to enjoy it. On top of that, though the thought of having it may deemed sinful but its definitely worth your calories. Besides getting it by individual piece, it can be purchased in 5 at $12. Trust me, if you like Kong Bah Pau, this is good!

Skip the thought of Lor Mai Kai (Glutinous Chicken Rice) and replace this with braised pork. Presentation may be a bit unappetising over here as it was totally dressed in dull colors which made the braised meat camouflage but do not judge the book by its cover.

Soup was served in a disposable plastic container and quick to serve with the service staff heating it up. Taste was rather average and wasn't too spicy on the tongue.

This is for a fast meal after work. Limited seating capacity. I was lucky to get one after a short wait. Ordered their braised pork vegetable rice. Fragrant dish braised for hours. rather oily as they used the part of pork with fats. But it is this that makes the dish taste nice. It would not taste the same with lean pork. Overall, can try especially when you are in a hurry.

I was excited to have spotted my favourite kong bak pau. This is one of the outlets of the famous Westlake offers their signature Kong Bak Pau and other snacks. I decided to get just a piece of the kong bak pau to have it as afternoon snack. A piece of well braised kong bak (pork belly) was sandwiched in between the steamed bun with a leaf of lettuce together with a bit of braised sauce. Their kong bak has got a good balance of lean and fat meat and its texture was very soft and not oily at all.
